How about Mickey's "see you real soon!" With a collage of small photos?

I also used the goodbye song from the mouseketeers. "Now it's time to say goodbye to all our company. Mic- see you real soon. Key- why because we like you. Mouse.". I put that song on my layout with a picture of the characters waving goodbye that I received on my trip. I love it and could never come up with a better idea than that.

Funny, I thought of the "See you real soon!", too, right when I finished reading the title of the thread!

I love the goodbye song idea!

Or how about some lists to sum up the trip:

5 favorite rides
5 best treats we ate/drank
5 best memories
5 things we won't do next time

etc.

I was thinking I would use
"and they lived happily ever after.."
with a photo of the whole family in front of Cinderella's castle.

Because, really - isn't your life complete once you visit Disney?!

this is what I did....got a piece of blue sparkly cardstock, cut out mickey head, almost the size of the paper (12 x 12) and made a collage of pics taken to put inside the space where the mickey head was..

I was going to say '...and they lived happily ever after' but someone already beat me to it

(That's what I put at the end of wedding albums too)

I like to sum up the entire vacation, kind of like in a letter, and use that as my last page. Sometimes there is a photo, sometimes not. But I know that there are feelings or stories or thank you's, stuff like that that doesn't always get up into the album pages. I like to have that at the end. It affords me much more journal space about whatever I want to say since I don't have pictures that go with the particular story I am telling.

Or I will explain which park/ship and what date to expect the next Disney Trip!

Do you have a picture of the back of everybody in your family.... maybe as they were walking away from you somewhere? Then you could do "See you real soon" or "See you next time" or something similar- lots of good ideas in this thread.

We got a "thank you" card from Mickey and the gang after we got home, so I'm planning to use that on the last page.

I've used the See Ya Real Soon, and that's cute. On our last trip where we went to all 4 parks, I took one nice family picture from each park in front of its major icon (castle, Epcot ball, hat, tree) and put those on the last page.

That's a great idea, Rhonda. So many great ideas here.

My idea is from the perspective of a numbers/statistics nerd.

2 days in the car
3 days in the park
5 characters met
+ 4 roller coasters
= 1 awesome trip
(done much more artistically)

I did a page with stats for a road trip we took:

I usually end our family vacations with a top ten list. We each hand-write a few of our top moments. I love seeing my kids' handwriting change as they get older and I am a firm believer in journaling in my own handwriting.

It's fun to look back at what moments of the trip the kids found tops in their minds.

I took a wide shot picture of the pretty blue sky and my sons walking to our car before headed back to frigid Ohio. So, I ended my album with "good bye blue sky, we'll miss you."

The Dr. Seuss quote - Don't cry because it's over; smile because it happened - and a collage of random pics that didn't make it into the album anywhere else.

For the last page of my Disney album that I'm working on right now, I'm doing a decorated pocket page with all the memorabilia that didn't make it into the rest of my album.

Hmm...how about a big, say 8 x 10 photo of the night fireworks from one of the parks, with the title "Dreams Come True?"

On the last two pages of my then 18 month old son's album, I did a collage of pictures that didn't "fit" anywhere in his album and then I did a "highlights" page of all the things that made the trip special for him.

After a 7 day cruise I did a "Betcha Didn't Know" page and included lots of little tidbits about the trip what didn't get recorded anywhere else in the album.

I have just done a picture of the castle with fireworks and written a little good-bye saying good-bye to all the things I was going to miss most about that particular trip.
I love all the ideas here! I am absolutely "borrowing" them for the next trip and for other vacation albums as well!

Our last pic for the WDW album will be our 3 yr old dd's face in the airport when we were getting ready to fly back home. She is bawling & her giant tears are streaming down her face, she was so upset we were leaving. It made my dh cry

and a collage of random pics that didn't make it into the album anywhere else.

I use this all the time! I save all the photos that didn't make it in the album and use a 3x3 inch punch and use those random photos and usually end up filling the last page. I might insert some 3x3 inch punched squares of paper if I don't have enough to fill the entire page.

I did the random shots not otherwise in the album and punched them into the same size squares. Titled it "Mouse"ellaneous Memories.

My last WDW album was a 9x9, and I used that Jolees sticker of the back of Mickey and Minnie, with Cricut Mickey font saying THE END. It reminded me of the closing shot on an old Mickey cartoon and it made me happy!

On our last day visiting DisneyWorld, we had the park photographer take a "sad face" photo in front of the castle. The whole family is frowning and looking forlorn. Made a perfect last page for the album. Staged and hokey? Absolutely, but why not?
