I am not familiar with all of their collections, but I really like the Basics collection. I still have a few pages of the papers in my stash and I save it for "special" pages. It's so versatile. I actually would buy more of the paper if I saw it somewhere!
I also have the Wisteria collection pack in my stash, partially used. I like that one a lot, but I think I like Basics better.

I'm a BG fanatic from way back and have probably 20-30 lines. I'm more a fan of the Old School stuff but I can't pick just one. Even just 3 is hard but I'll do it, LOL!
1. Motifica
2. Urban Prairie
3. Black Tie |

I used Motifica to scrap some Rome photos and it was sooo perfect. I've been hoarding Black Tie forever but I'm getting ready to use it for my long-overdue wedding album. It's so classy and timeless.
Would love to see your project if you took pics! |

Too funny----I was just going through all of my BG collections tonight and I loved Porcelain and Sultry. My favorite collections definitely came from around the Stella ruby/Urban Couture years. I haven't liked the newer collections for two or three years now. |

I love that range, still have quite a bit of it, all bought from a shop which I think has closed. Neutral but classy backgrounds, wish I had more "Chardonnay".

I love me some Basic Grey! I am still hoarding some scraps of Lollipop Shoppe. How's that for a blast from the past?! I have a little of Motifica left and of course Black Tie.
My most recent favorites were Serendipity and Shine. Perfect for summer photos. PB&J works well with it too.
I switch out Christmas lines in my album. More times than not I use a BG line. Last year was Nordic Holiday and this year is Aspen Frost. |

Sublime and Motifica made me fall in love with BasicGrey patterns. Their early association with K&Co to create the embossed Sublime paper patterns and dimensional stickers ..... swoon.
I can't think that there wasn't an "early years" line that I didn't love --- new, creative, energetic patterns ... but all easily use-able in all sorts of style of scrapbooking.
Black Tie, Fresh and Funky, wonderful, wonderful patterns and colors!
Then they changed.
I haven't purchased much, if any, BasicGrey in Y E A R S ... really years.

They were my favorite manu for so long, and I still love them. I have/have had and used nearly all their collections since Sublime. I don't even think I could narrow it down into a top 5! Here are some of my favorites:
-Black Tie
-Eva
-Sultry
-Urban Couture
-Urban Prairie
-Fact and Fiction
-Indian Summer
-Mellow
-Marrakech
-Ambrosia
-Origins
I used Motifica to scrap Rome pictures, too, @journey fan! I can only think of one BG line that they've ever put out that I didn't like and didn't buy anything from, the rest have been great. I really like the new lines that are coming out, too. |
