Romani or Pheobe (I can't believe nobody has mentioned that one yet! I loved it so much I made a collage with it which I framed and hung on the wall )

Also loved Lily Kate and Blush which I think were around the same time.

All time favorites are Motifca, Vagabond, and Black Tie. I've been hoarding Motifca and I'll finally use it for my Greece trip. I used most of Vagabond and Black Tie for a NY trip.

Figgy Pudding is the collection that immediately jumped into my head. I love that line, especially.

It's funny - I wasn't a fan at all when BG first came out and didn't get the hype over it, but it wound up being one of my all time favorite paper companies.

I think Sultry is my all time fav.

Also really like Lemondade, Lillykate & Figgy Pudding.

I know it's not as trendy as it once was, but I still love at least half of what Basic Grey puts out.

Momo4! So glad I am not alone in my Periphery obsession. Phew. When I found it on clearance (the shop was moving & has since closed) I bought a LOT. Peamail me your wishlist if you would like some, I will check your list against my stash. I am sure I will never use it all. Post from here is slow-ish though.

It is probably always going to be one of the original releases "Sublime." I bought a bunch at LSS when it came out, then bought a whole pad of Sublime/Motifica at J's when it was available that way. So I've got A LOT of layouts with Sublime to enjoy now, and none of that line still left. There have been plenty of others I loved and bought lots of, and many that I have not, but none compare with how much love I had for Sublime.

Totally forgot Archaic, another favorite.

I remember working in a LSS and begging the owner to order the debut lines of Basic Grey. She didn't, saying it would never take off because it wasn't our customer base.

My favorite are pretty much all the Christmas lines because they coordinate beautifully through the years.

That's a tough one! My first thoughts were Scarlet's Letter and PB&j, but I actually had to go look the collections up:

BG collections

It was a delightful stroll down memory lane I used a ton of Motifica over the years (found it on clearance at Michaels one day and bought tons); Archaic was awesome for my boys; Urban Prairie, Lemonade and Picadilly made me actually like pastels. So many great collections, even if I only end up buying bits and pieces.

Urban Couture was the first line of any scrapbooking product I fell in love with. That collection marked the first time I paid attention to buying papers with matching embellishments. I bought a ton, I loved it and I still do.

Max & Whiskers, Ambrosia, Marrakech and Indian Summer were also favorites. What's Up is crazy cute too, but I can't seem to find a thing to use it with.

ETA: I totally forgot about Mellow, Blush and Konnichiwa! Loved those three as well.

Oh my, I have loved BG longer than any other line of paper. I have used a lot of it for Disney pages, band pages, promotion pages, vacation pages, and lots and lots of Christmas pages.

My favorites? Color Me Silly, Scarlet's Letter, and all of their Christmas lines.

We should link pages done with our favorite collections here. That would be awesome. I just checked my gallery, and although I have quite a few pages using BG there none with my fav collections - how weird is that? I'll try to upload some tomorrow.

Let's see yours.

Basic Grey used to be my favorite ALL TIME scrap company. I LOVE Sublime, Vagabond, Figgy Pudding, Lime Ricky, Sugar Rush, Origins, Oliver, Wander, and PB&J. I have not cared for many of their newer releases. I still look forward to what they release though in hopes that it will be "old school B.G."

So many, just when I think I've narrowed down my favorites, I think of or see a collection I "forgot".

I absolutely loved these:
Little Black Dress
Scarlet's Letter

Was there a "Hang Ten" line or was that a paper within a line? Right around the time of Lily Kate. This is about the time I started falling in love with Basic Grey. Never did go back and scoop up the Black Tie line like I wanted to.

My three favorites:

1. Basics
2. Lemonade
3. Urban Prairie

I just used the 6"x6" basics pad the other night to make a bunch of tiny kraft envelopes for layouts.with the We R Memory Keepers punch board. So easy and quick & they'll look so cool with those subtle patterns! I think I'll do some in the white & off-white, too.

I'm just going through my old papers and I found Lollipop Shoppe, and I really like that one, too.

I think when you go through old stash and you find paper and you think "Oh, I'm so glad I still have some that!", then it was a really great line for you.

And that's exactly how I feel about many BG lines.
