How sad. Chris Kyle, was shot at a gun range in Texas. NBC had interviewed him last year.

He seemed like a good guy.

It's also sad that because one victim was famous the other one doesn't get mentioned in some of the reports I have seen.

Thank you.

Something weird was going on there. It will be interesting to see what the gunman has to say, if he talks at all.

This is a local story to me. The story in the news here is that Chris was working with veterans suffering from PTSD. They say the shooter was one of the guys and "snapped." The part that doesn't make sense to me is that he drove Chris's truck away from the scene and all 3 men are from the same town. There has to be more to it.

Yes, indeed.

Since he's local to you, what is his reputation like? He seems awfully high profile for a Navy Seal sniper. Those guys tend to downplay their military role, but this one seems to almost brag about his. The pentagon says he has 160 kills, but he claims 255. I'm not sure how someone kills that many people and comes out of it anywhere near 'normal'.

Man, too bad there was no one armed around!

(Honestly, though, this sounds like a beef and not something random.)

Truly sad story.
