Where does everyone buy their ATG tape? I know I have heard of people getting it online for really great prices if you order a big thing of it but I can't remeber where it was. I am getting low and want to stock up. My M's is always out. Thanks

I'm not on my computer to verify right now but, I believe I order from framingsupplies.com
I use the 1/2" tape with the old yellow gun (since 1997) so, the refills aren't readily available.

I tried framingsupplies but shipping on 5 pks was over $12 that made the price the same as joanns before a coupon

I ordered from tape depot this last time due to peas recommendations but honestly I will go back to framing supplies for the scotch brand even though it's a little more expensive. I do like the tape depot brand but find the other a little better...my girls have an easier time with the scotch brand as it rolls a little more smoothly than the kind from tape depot....

Thank you for all the replies! I was looking for thetapedepot.com site. I have used them in the past but couldn't remember which site it was.

I tried tapedepot last time, but I'm going to go back to FramingSupplies. The tape from tapedepot seemed of cheaper quality and didn't stick as well as the real deal. I had to go back and re-adhere pieces of cards with my liquid glue to make sure things stuck better..

For those unfamiliar with wording on the tapedepot site, reverse wound 7502 1/4", 36 yd, is for the pink gun.
It has a higher adhesion strength than the general purpose tape.

I am not affiliated with them, but have been using their products for several years. They are also on ebay as thetapedepot

I choose to save on adhesive, so I can buy other scrapy things.

HTH

ETA: clee321, yes that is the correct tape in your link

I get it at Michaels with a coupon or Amazon and I buy three or four refills at a time.

I have used framingsupplies.com in the past but when I went on to order recently their prices had increased quite a bit. I found it on Amazon for 6.16 a 2 pack with free shipping over $25.

I have used Tape Depot but thought the tape was not as good.

I found out a wonderful thing the last time M's had the tape on sale for 40% off. Of course, they did not have it in stock, but I was able to order it in bulk from the people in the framing department, get 40% off and pick it up a few weeks later. It was really an easy transaction! Next time you visit your local M's, ask about the bulk purchase option.

That stinks. I just got my order and fortunately, it is the right stuff.

lynner - how many rolls is "in bulk"?

Edited: I mean, how many rolls do you have to purchase at a time to get the "bulk" pricing (sorry, my first sentence was typed too fast to make sense!)

Thanks for this thread. I was part of tape share from the Tape Depot, and have used most of the rolls. I just ordered them before I forgot again. I actually like this tape better than the Scotch. It dispenses a bit easier and faster. Thanks again for this thread since it reminded me to order some tape before I ran out.
