Saw on the local news that Ethan (who was rescued today) is having his 6th birthday this week. If you'd like to join in and send him a birthday card a local officer will see that Ethan gets them. Send cards to:

Napier Field Town Hall, 400 Headquarters St., Napier Field, AL 36303.

Cards should be in care of 'Cards for Ethan' or Lt. April McDaniel.

I was so happy to hear he was rescued safely. My heart was breaking all week thinking about him.

I will definitely send a card!

I don't know how good an idea this is.

This kid just went through a major trauma. I don't think being flooded with cards by strangers is necessarily a good idea. I think the media needs to leave this family alone FOREVER and things like this will just keep things alive. 'Ethan had a truck of mail delivered' things like that they will take and manufacture stories to keep this alive, when what his family needs is peace and a return to normal life.
