It updates after midnight on the day you switch levels. I asked customer service last week. | |

I do remember the post saying that they would have random things where you could earn more points. Maybe they have days where you do earn more for posts and secrets points for days to upload that way people aren't taking advantage and just being active because they want too.
I still have a long way to go and I didn't have the discount before. I don't have a big scrap budget, but I'm glad there is an incentive there besides purchasing.
Oh, if it is true that you get more points by posting with their app, that's not fair to us android/non-ipad people! I can't help it. Apple is stinkin' expensive people.  |

If this is some sort of gift and not a mistake they rescind
If it is a gift, for whatever reason, it would be nice to let us know so we can take advantage of it. Some people are getting extra points which is good but others aren't and it would be nice to know why.
I have jumped quite a few points since last time I checked (before CHA) but nothing is changing now. And I have no idea why. |

Jamie has explained the points breakdown for posts and uploads in the announcements. That wasn't there when I first read it I'm sure

Wow, I uploaded three projects and made a few other MB posts since I last wrote on this thread, and now I am only about 290 points shy of the first discount level. I'll probably max out on the MB and gallery upload points before I place my next order, but it's kind of cool that I'll get 5% off for the next 11 months or so. Not a big difference, but I can pick up a few more sheets of paper or maybe a pack of embellishments with each order. | |

yep- between posting like a fool and uploading a bunch of layouts, I have gained over 5000 pts and just hit the 10% discount! I hope all the AC/SC/Crate stuff gets here before they take my points back |

No extra points here. Only for my purchases. Wish I could get some for chatting as well I'm 6k away from Gold. I know I need to start uploading LO's to get more points, but I'm just not sure I'm comfortable with it. |

Oh yes, it works for me at least - I got 5,270 points so far today.  But I read that other got nothing. :/

My points haven't changed since I started watching them yesterday after posting to this thread. I have a total of 3600 currently and have for a few days. None of my posts are changing anything and I don't think I have already reached the limit for the month.

I think they need to revisit what their goals are for this point system. Sure, it's encouraging people to post, but all of these "test" posts just to see if points are being awarded isn't really contributing much to the community.
Wasn't there some big hoopla several years ago about people creating extra posts to get their post counts up so they could achieve "Buckethead" or whatever? I wasn't around then, but it seems like they're driving members to create unnecessary posts with these rewards. |
