I think the trick is to buy generic ones. I have made some bad choices and some very good choices I do think it is fairly good value as it keeps on giving. I have about 8 rolls I think and that is enough for me until I finish some

I don't have too many (transitioned into digital when the washi tape came out) but I do like to use the ones that I have and the plainer ones are just fabulous for labelling stuff at home!

I have mixed feelings about Washi. I don't like raggedy edges on anything, so I won't use it that way, but it's possible I may use some in place of ribbon. I like the look of ribbon but seldom use it because of the problems with glue (though I do sometimes roll it through my X, which works okay).
I also don't like the idea of "repositionable" even though it's likely safe behind page protectors.
One thing that does concern me is that Washi is apparently not acid-free.
Despite all this, I got a roll with my Smash book a couple years ago, and I have caved to Pea peer pressure and bought a few rolls recently, just because they are pretty. Haven't used any of it - yet.

I don't have any either. Seeing what I can do with six rolls of electrical tape, each a different color, I bought for $2 a few months ago. So far I've done one art journal layout, and I stamped the tape.

I resisted for a while but recently caved and I totally understand the appeal now. If you buy generic make sure they're acid free. The heard Recollections were not acid free, so I only use those on paper and not on photos.

I resisted washi tape for a long time, and then in the past several months I've picked up a few, and then a few more...I have ten or twelve rolls now. It's just fun! I like the translucency, as others have mentioned. It's fun to overlap two or three patterns on top of each other. I look for patterns and colors that I use a lot, like red polka-dots, white clouds, teal stripes, etc. I know I'll use those a lot.
A lot of the Freckled Fawn washis are 25% off here at Two Peas right now, FYI. I like finding them on sale, then it doesn't feel like quite such an expense. |

Oooh, I love it! I have maybe 50 different styles of it. Some are just a yard of each that I got off etsy. I use it on pretty much every scrapbook page, plus it's PERFECT for PL! |

Costco has washi tape. Please tell me more or better yet photo please.
I held off and avoided Washi tape now I love it. I loved it even more when Michaels had to 1/2 price.
I love the effect and I love the transparency of it. I can't wait to do a mini using it.
Love it lots on the PL | |

I have over 100 rolls and then many of the MME tapes by the yard.
I also ordered this weekend... ALL the new MME tapes by the yard.
But it's tape, that's an office supply, right? |

I have about 10 or 12 rolls. I love it but can't justify buying too much more. It lasts forever. |

I haven't bought any, yet. But those of you that love it (and watching Glitter Girl use it) have now convinced me I must need it. |

the Glitz ones are tempting me!
I know, I just had to have several of those.

Sounds cool! Do you have any pics?
