I love wood veneers but the packaging stinks!
As of right now all my wood veneers are just throwing into a little jar I have - all mixed up. It's just not working! How do you store your wooden veneers? I need ideas! |

This is a great Question because I am having the same problem. I also have them in a huge jar (because I have so many). But when I go to use them I have to dump the entire thing. I saw that someone had theirs in a plastic divided container. I might go to J tomorrow and look for one of those!! I hope others give their input. |

I got square, stackable plastic divided containers at Target in the "dollar" bins. They are super handy for that and were really cheap. |

Mine are in a jar, and I love it. My Dad just commented the other day how cool it looks. I also have a jar of washi, a jar of buttons and a giant jar of ribbon. |

I keep mine in small plastic baggies, by style, that I then clip together with a large office clip and hang from my peg board. |

I keep mine, separated by the packaging they come in, in small, stackable square containers from M's. they come three to a pack and have locking lids - this was important to me because I don't want to have to worry about the lids falling off, or the veneers spilling everywhere |

I have lockables (forget the company) that I use for most of my embellies - including wood veneers. They come in different sizes so I bought bigger ones for the veneers. I like that I can see them all but that they are together with everything else and easily transportable for crops |

I put them in the baggies that Two Peas sends me with my scrappy goodies. They zip on the top so that I don't have little pieces everywhere. | |

I think I'll have to sort them in a container. I thought about putting them in a bowl, but worry they'll break. Some of them are so fragile looking. I have the same issue with flair not sure how to sort. I'm worried about having them all together because I think they'll rub against each other and end up having scratches all over the tops. Over thinking it I'm sure. Lol. |

I use a bead box. It's so easy to see what I have (not that there is much anymore, must fix that). I mostly go for smaller sized veneer, but any veneer that is too big goes with my embellishments box (which is an embroidery floss box). |

These jars fit perfectly on the bottom two rows of the MM Embellishment Centre (I removed the ribbon holders)

I keep them in the pkg. I just cut a little window in the front of the plastic that I can open and get out what I want. That way, they still stack up in the basket on my desk & nothing falls out.
I loved the divided box mentioned in the post above, that Amy Tan opened in her video. My heart skipped a beat at that, LOL. |

I have a small white ceramic bowl that I bought at the Target dollar spot and they are all mixed together in that. I don't have a ton so it works and it sits out in my space. I just poke around in there to find what I'm looking for. |

I think you can use any little storage container, think outside the box. You could look at your own Target for instance in the bathroom or kitchen section and find lots of little divders.
I personally have been using these stack and fit collection from Staples, Marth Stewart collection. I have open shelving and like the pop of color and they really are perfect to grab and bring to my desk.

OK I see what they are in the pic posted above. What is so special about them? What do you do with them? Paint? Spray? Ink? |

I have mine stored in old tiny tart tins. I have several sizes of tart tins, so I can put the sets with larger pieces into bigger tins, and the smaller ones into iddy biddy tins. The tart tins are all on a tiered dessert tray.
