Realistically, how many hours a week do you spend on scrapbooking?

If I go to a crop, then 8-14 hours a weekend. My LSS just went to crops every weekend, so that's AWESOME. I need to get my spare room cleaned up and then I could craft just a little bit every day. I think it's a real stress reliever to do something creative every day, rather than save it all up for the weekend. I admire those of you that can get something done while your little one takes a nap - it seems like it takes me hours just to get set up!

I give myself about an hour and a half during the weekdays and maybe two or three hours on the weekend if we are home. If not at least one hour a day.
My office is in the front of our house, so I sneak in whenever the kids are playing nicely or don't need me and I set up for layouts.

My goal is one layout a day but realistically aiming for two.

Way more than that! I do have a lot of time on my hands (I am unemployed, possibly retired) so I spend several hours on each layout and try to get both a layout and an art journal page done each day. My art journal pages take a bit less time, because I haven't really delved into the artistic techniques that much yet, they are almost like small scrapbook pages.

i'd give anything to be able to do both a layout and an art journal page every day.

at this point, i'm lucky if i get to do one project a week. i finished a canvas this week, an art journal page last week, etc. maybe, an hr. or two a week at this point...

my goal is to do something creative everyday - even if that's only plan/prep.

blah! owell, one of these days i'll be able to stay at home and scrap to my heart's content. lol...

in the meantime, i guess i should probably focus on work and school.

I am amazed at how much time some of you spend on scrapping (I think it is great). I think I need to get off the computer and start scrapping. I haven't been spending much time on it at all and I really need to. I am happier and a nicer person to be around when I am creating. There are weeks when I spend no time at all scrapping honestly this is most weeks. Then I will get a week where I get a few hours or maybe even a day of cropping which is usually about 4-5 hours in which time I may get a layout done if I have had time to prep and print out some photos and then I still need to cut a title and do the journaling LOL. I am slow and need to get into a good groove and get some pages done.

I would love to have 10 hours a week to scrap and honestly I don't see why I can't I just need to figure out when to do so and actually do it.

These days I do good to get 2 hours a week on a Friday night, but in the past I've had as many as 5 to 6 hours a week.

Usually a couple times a week for 2-3 hours each time. I'm a SAHM and my son's in school all day.

I would consider myself lucky if I had 3 hours to sit down & scrap each week.

ETA: I really should get off my computer and just scrap but it's really hard when I only have 30 minutes or 1 hour free time at night. I'm a slow scrapper so it takes me hours to finish one layout.

I go in spurts. Some weeks I don't scrap at all, then I'll get motivated and spend 10 hours other weeks.

Since the beginning of this year I have been really into scrapping so I have been spending a lot of time doing so. I am averaging about 25-35 hours a week. But I am a SAHM and all my kids are in school so I have all day to do whatever and then I have the weekends too. My DH lets me spend as much time scrapping as I want and I don't mind as long as my house is clean and my family has been taken care of first.

My work schedule is awesome I have 3 days weekends. So every weekend I scrap the entire day.
Although I have been scrapping for over 12 years I am slow and so I only get about pages done.
I labor on each LO right paper, right embellies etc

Wow! 3-6 hours doesn't seem like much. On a normal week including a week where I have the chance to scrap on one of the weekend days I scrap I probably get in 8-10 hours. Without the weekend, 3-5 or none! It is rare that I can finish a lo in less than 3 hours.

1-2. And with a newborn due any minute I'm guessing it will be less. I would love to have lots of time to scrap but its a busy season of life and it will all be there waiting for me when I'm able to go back.

I normally only get to truly scrapbook on the weekends, so my average would be 5-7 hours a week.

I do get on the message board each day for 15-20 minutes... does that count?

I wish I didn't have a boring 8-5 job so I was home scrapping! I tend to scrap for at least 2 hours a night and the weekends, that could be an all day thing. I don't have kids so it's all on my own time which is nice I would say total a week...20 hours (that's counting a weekend day.

I would say that I am also a 0 to 5 hours per week person. Would love to have it be more, but that is what summer vacation is for! 11 glorious weeks!

I am sorta shocked by how much time y'all spend scrapping. I can't even imagine scrapping for 6 hours a week. I probably spend 45 minutes to an hour every week. But honestly though, having a lockdown like Shimelle would be pretty darn awesome. We should create National Scrapbooking Lockdown Week where everyone drops everything and scraps the entire week.

I'm between 2-4 hours a week. But that includes a lot of paper pushing and not actual glueing!

I usually get about 20-30 min per day. Somedays I just have long to stare wistfully at my supplies on the way to bed.

I am in jealous awe of those of you who get 10+ hrs a week.

I scrap about 2-3 Saturdays a month, so a total of 25 hours. Divide that by 4 is about 6 hours a week.

on a regular basis, I probably only spend about an hour or two per week actually scrapbooking. I don't work on my stuff at home right now; the last time I spent any appreciable amount of time was a weekend retreat LAST spring.

(I'm doing a lot of cleaning and organizing right now, and I hang out online a LOT, but I don't count that as scrapbooking.)

I'm another one whose work gets in the way of scrapping I find it hard to scrap after work - my Mojo ain't there! I usually spend about 2 hours during the weekdays, but another 4-5 hours on a weekend, so maybe 6 hrs/week total?

Of course, this place sure does get in the way...

Well, if hanging out at Two Peas doesn't count, probably less than four hours. I wish it was about triple that! Most of my time is spent on schoolwork and related responsibilities, catching up with bf , and taking care of miscellaneous needs like laundry and grocery shopping. It's easy to pop into Two Peas when I need a quick break, but not so easy to break out a bunch of supplies and start scrapping.

Ugh -- maybe 15 minutes. But before I had my kid 8 1/2 years ago, I scrapped upwards of 30 hours a week, sometimes many more. The crop room at the LSS was my hangout.
