Ok now to ask what the Peas think of mattresses toppers.
Reading the reviews on Costco they either hated it ot loved it.
What has been your experience? This is for ds and dd.

Any mattress topper review is good. Debating on what to get if any.

I had a memory foam one and hated it. It was extremely comfortable to lay on but I sweat to death on it. Same thing happens to me on a memory foam mattress

We just bought one for my dd (12)...she loves it. She always felt her mattress was too firm before. It's a 3" memory foam topper.

We have a memory foam topper and we both love it, comfort wise, but I also get very hot. So much so that it wakes me up. Not sure what we're going to do about it because we both really need something due to achy bones and age, but it does hold body heat. Doesn't bother DH - he could sleep through anything - but I'm constantly pulling the covers off.

My DD has had a couple of different ones, an egg crate type in college that was ok, helped with the dorm bed. When she got her apartment they got IKEA beds which weren't terribly comfortable. I got her a 5 inch topper from Kohl's, not memory foam but still foam. And she loved that. She has gotten a new one for her new bed. I'm sorry I don't know what type I'm sorry but I think it was a serta one. And she's happy with it.

My mom had a memory foam topper. She is very hot nature to start with and she found it unbearably hot to sleep on. She moved it to the guest bed where I sleep when I visit. I tend to have problems being cold while and I sleep. I love the heat retention!

I think it depends on the topper, the mattress you have and the result you are looking for.

If you want, but cannot afford a Tempurpedic bed and layer a topper with that material on it, you are not going to get the same result. Not by a long shot.

If you have a bed that is too firm and you want a bit more cushion, then you will get that result.

If you want a wool or wicking topper to help keep you cooler, you can get that result with the right type of topper.

I have a memory foam topper I bought at Costco. I think it's NovaFoam or something like that.
I love love love it.
When I first got it, it was a little warm for a few days. But I quickly got used to it.
I went back and bought the memory foam pillows because I love the mattress topped so much
