I have spent FOREVER now messing with the fonts I downloaded. I clicked download while on dafont & saved as a folder called FONT under my documents. I went & clicked on those fonts & extracted them. Though some show still being zipped. ANYWAY>>> if I right click on either of them I do not get the option to install. Every place I've looked for directions on how to install the fonts say: just right click & install....I don't have that choice.
What am I doing wrong? I KNOW there is a way to do multiple fonts @ once too.
HELP!!!! | |

Open the font file by double clicking and it will give you the option to install - on a PC anyway.

Typically your computer comes with a fonts folder already installed, it includes basic fonts that all computers have (Times New Roman, Arial, etc).
You will need to locate that folder - usually if you go to your Control Panel on your computer you can find it (click on the Windows button on the lower left of your screen and then select Control Panel)
Once you have unzipped the font you downloaded - drag the TTF file into the font folder you located that came loaded on your computer.
That should do it. | |

I was always hunting for the font folder to drop it in and then one day saw the little install button.... It was so very much faster! I guess I was doing it the old school way.

I have an older windows system and after extracting the file, you just click the move file button located on left side bar same as extract dile button. A list of places to move it to, including fonts, comes up. Just click fonts and it's installed.

I've tried the click & drag..when I click to drag it in to the folder it says its not a valid font???
Is there a way to do multiple extracting & multiple dragging? I extract all but they still look zipped.

Glad you've figured it out! I have gone on for a long time too installing them manually before I figured out I could just double click to get them installed.
