I will be thinking of all you snow scrappers! I moved away from the snow and would not miss shoveling it at all. But it would be fun to watch it all...for about an hour. Stay warm and dry...get that hot apple cider with cinnamon, allspice and oranges on the stove ready to go. And those hot dogs and kraut ready for the fireplace...oh, and stock up on medications, tire chains, kitty litter, windshield scrapers, and snow boots too. What else? maybe carrots for those snowmen...

Hope you stay safe! We have snow right now but it was warmer-ish today. I wish it would melt and be summer already!!

I'm in the 3-6" range. My son already has his snow boots and suit by the door. He's so ready for the first snowfall of the year. Me, not so much.

I'm another one who always has to go to work no matter what. Fortunately, I'm only a 10 minutes drive from work (well, 30, in the snow they're forcasting!!!) so at least I don't feel I'm risking life and limb on the highway in the snow.

Would *love* a snow day some time

Here in MA in the 12"-18" zone. Ready for snow with paper, snacks and my Snuggie! I love a good snow-it looks so pretty when it's newly fallen and no one has walked in it yet. The shoveling and cleanup-that's what husbands are for He is home tomorrow because his bus is cancelled and the T (city public transpotation system)is shutting down at 3:30 pm

As long as we don't lose power! Remember to charge all your devices- laptops, phones etc. because no one wants to be stuck and have no way to pea!

Stay safe and warm, thinking of the photos you will take on Saturday

We aren't supposed to get a ton, just 4-8 (some say 10) which isn't much compared to those that may be getting a few feet. I have to work tomorrow and I doubt our school will cancel, so I probably won't be getting much done unless its just some craft area organization that needs to get done this weekend.

We live about 30 mins south of Philadelphia and it looks like we are getting pretty much all rain with maybe a change over to snow tomorrow night. That's ok with me. I am more of a December - January snow girl. Once February hits, I'm getting tired of winter and looking forward to spring.

Be safe and warm Snow Peas! Enjoy your scrapping!

Okay, trade ya! I don't want to lose any more days. We already have to make up 7 school days due to Hurricane Sandy and the nor'easter that followed. It's already snowed 3 times since Groundhog Day. My kindergarten students said that the groundhog must have been a fibber since he didn't see his shadow. I'd rather have rain. You don't have to shovel that.

The local news is saying 24 to 28 inches in my area, maybe over 30 in my area. I telecommute for work, and will be working all day tomorrow. Even if the roads are plowed enough for driving Saturday afternoon, I'm going to stay home and scrap for the entire weekend.

Weather reports are for 5-7 inches between now and noon friday. So far, not a snowflake to be seen.
Kids are hoping for a 'snow day'...50/50 chance per weather report. I'd prefer better odds!! The boys did their 'hope for a snow day' ritual this evening before bed.
It's always fun to take photos of them with inside-out jammies running around the kitchen table!!

The forecast keeps changing, but it looks like we'll get a significant amount of snow. The lines at the grocery store were so crazy yesterday I decided to stick with the food I already have (not a ton, but definitely enough to get me through a few days). I'm home alone all weekend, which means I will either get a LOT of uninterrupted scrapping done, or I will be very bored if the power goes out.

I gave myself a snow day. If I went into work, a few hours later they would decide to send us home in the middle of the storm. Right now on Long Island it is a mix of rain and snow. Be safe pea friends.

I work in a hospital so there are no snow days for me. If we are unable to make it in to work due to the weather, they send a truck out to pick us up and bring us in.

Our stupid superintendent waited until this morning to send out the call for no school. Nooooo, couldn't do it last night so people could sleep in undisturbed! (and I'm in the top snow range)

Before I had kids, I'd always scrap away a snow day.

I can remember one time when the power went out during the day so I brought my scrapping supplies down to the living room and scrapped at the coffee table which I had pulled right in front of our sliding glass door for optimal light.

That worked for hours until it finally became too dark outside.

Morning snow scrappers! Nothing really happening here yet! Kids are pumped for snow! Until there is enough, they are working on their valentines and cleaning their rooms (yeah right!). Dh went out this morning and got some fresh bagels and some muffins as a treat and we are as ready as we can be. Just paid my bills online in case we lose power so I am ready to scrap!!

Those of you who just suffered through Sandy, I am sorry you are dealing with another big storm. Coastal folks, hope the tides and winds are not a problem for you!!

Those of us who are just getting lots of snow, snuggle in if you can, be careful if you can't!

If you are scrapping and need some inspiration, check out the stash busters challenge. Marianne has some great prompts and there are always the 2peas videos to jump start your mojo!

Just awaiting for Nemo (love that name!, makes for some great pages!)

Off to throw in a load of laundry then hitting my desk!

Wasn't planning on a snow day today, but when I was about to leave for work and could barely get out of the house, I decided that taking a snow day was better than attempting to get to work! Unfortunately I had to shovel the driveway first so I finally just got into my scrap room!

Finished work for the day. Dinner is on the stove. I made cookies. Straightened up the family room. Cleaned the kitchen. DH folded all the laundry. I cleaned up my scrapping table. I can finally sit down and do some scrapping. Snow is falling pretty steady here but we haven't hit the worst part of the storm yet.
