I'm confused as well--on another thread I saw people saying they never shop here, and rarely post, but have tons of points. It must be a glitch. I only have a few hundred, but that seems in line w/my shopping/posting history. | |

This thread is cracking me up!  I love how everyone posts, then checks their points, then posts again...we're all such a bunch of obsessive-compulsive points-grabbers, aren't we?

It seems to me that the "Powers That Be" are totally ignoring all the threads about how the points are calculated. Reminds me of the "too white background" thread that went on and on and received no comments from the PTB. |

I think there are still glitches they are trying to work around. I never got all my CHA points. I am surprised they haven't responded to us either. |

I just posted 7 layouts to the gallery for the first time in 3 or 4 years and went from around 400 points to 4,100 points!  |

I got 60 points for my last post. Then I bought Wilna's class and got 250 points for that.
I hadn't been tracking my points very carefully, but I did notice that they went up by about 2000 points in late January. Didn't buy anything, didn't post very much (<10 posts I'd guess). Really disappointing to hear that some aren't getting any points. Even more disappointing that 2P's are silent. |

Reminds me of the "too white background" thread that went on and on and received no comments from the PTB.
They did answer, to the effect of we'd better get used to it because they weren't going to change it.
Now, the multiple requests that were completely ignored, without even acknowledgement that 2Peas even saw the requests let alone actually reply, were the requests for a separate board for electronic cutting machines, since Cricut and Cameo make up so much of GS.
I've been consistently getting 55 points per post these last few days, up from around 30 points or so last week. I don't know and don't really care, it's just fun to watch.

I may be in the minority but I like the new discount program. I would have never been able to reach a discount with the former program but with this I may actually be able to get one. Then I will be more willing to shop here.

I agree I was no where close with the old system but it may be possible with the new one as I post on here a bit and on the NSBR. I know if I have a discount I will be more likely to shop here. I do wonder why some people are getting differing amount of points I seem to be getting 55 right now but no idea how many last week or whenever. I honestly wouldn't even checked if it wasn't for all of these posts today.
Personally I would like to keep most of my shopping here because I have loved these boards for years and would love to support them. |
