I'm extending the challenge because technical difficulties are making it impossible to upload our projects today, Sunday, February 17. You now have until 11:59pm EST Monday night to upload your work to this challenge.
For this challenge you'll be making a card with the Triple Time Stamping Technique. It's fun and it's easy. On the Challenge Blog, you'll find a link to a video tutorial and step-by-step instructions.
You'll also find my sample card and links to two more that are in our gallery, one by Blafarge and one by iring (Cindi). You can find a ton more if you google the technique.
You can make your piece as full of stamping or as clean and simple as you want--your choice. You can adapt the design a bit (the way Cindi did), but the images must overlap the three layers. When I made mine, I got a bit carried away with the stamping!
Lots of the examples I found on-line had a sentiment as the focus of the center piece; this would make a good Thank You, Missing You, etc. card.
Suggestion: When you trim your cardstock, trim extras. I don't think you'll want to stop at just one card.
I hope you'll play and have fun.
Don't forget to come back here to link your card and tell us how it went.
Daria

I really love this challenge! To add a couple examples, this was the "Send You" that Kathy sent me a card and kit for.
Here is Kathy's (SWLady) version.
Here is my Butterfly Card.
I just watched the video and I love that card too. I definitely plan to participate!

Heidi, thank you so much for posting those links! I commented on those cards when I saw them, but then I forgot them, and they didn't show up in my search. They are so beautiful. I figured that if people saw enough examples, they'd have a better idea of how much or little stamping and shading they'd like for their own cards.
Thank you!

I just watched the video and I liked the part about how the mattes in between the layers will cover up the "gaps" that happen when you stamp over the edge of one layer to the next. Very cool idea!

Daria, we don't NEED to use the same dimensions you've given, do we? Could I make a bigger or smaller card (or square)?

Christin, yes you absolutely can change the dimensions. Also, don't forget that if the image at the edges of each layer doesn't look that great, it's OK because the mat will cover a bit of the lower layers. I found that that was where the image skipped a bit.
Heidi, that's great. How old is he? I look forward to seeing his card as well as yours.

I'm so happy you made this a challenge. I've wanted to have a go at it since the first time I saw it! You're right about it being easy after the cuts are done. I thought when I cut two sets that I'd leave one for later but it was so much fun and so easy I decided to do a Christmas card too. Thank you!
And then there were three challenge cards

Marshia, congratulations! You not only are the first to post to this challenge, you actually managed to post in the gallery in spite of all the glitches. Your timing is good. I just tried to post, and I couldn't.
I love your cards. They both turned out great. I like the amount of stamping that you used on the Holiday card and the artistic way you arranged the stamping on the fall card.
Thanks for playing.

Okay, sorry, seems they wanted me to upload a newer version of Adobe Flash... so finally I got my card uploaded to the gallery.
I enjoyed this and I'm pretty happy with the result, the only thing I might do differently next time is use more variety of colours...I used all different shades of purpley-pink but I think it might be a little on the dull side colour wise.

Joanne, I don't think it's dull at all! You have lots of contrast in your colors. I like the way you off-centered the pieces and the way you placed your ribbon.
I didn't have any problem posting, but I keep trying to edit yesterday's post so I can add some more images, and I get a 401 error. I'm logged in; there's nothing wrong with the url; I don't know what's wrong. I'll keep trying until it decides to let me in. So far this weekend, persistence has paid off. LOL.
Thanks for playing. Daria

Heidi It has been a long and somewhat frustrating weekend so I hope you won't mind if I say that your post gave me a much needed chuckle.
On first reading it sounded to me as if the girl had broken her arm, before you could photograph the arm. Once my brain turned on, I got ( what I assume is ) the correct meaning but it did give me a moments pause and a little laugh.
I love your son's card too...it's funny how artistic interest seems to sometimes run in families but the way of expressing it is often so different. Your card and his are different styles but both so lovely.

That is very nice on both accounts. I was afraid I did too much stamping on my card (and it was my second attempt), I often have these moments with my cards. Thanks so much!
