Ordered 3 paper pads from J's. 2 are really nice cs weight. The other is called the Best of.........and it's really flimsy pp. Not impressed.

some of them are regular paper wt. Especially the "best of". These are patterns that have been out in the regular cs wt and are being re-released in paper wt.

I bought one of those 'best of' stacks when it was 50% off, or something like that-- it was over 300 (?) pieces, or something crazy like that. I realized in very short order that I do NOT like using regular-weight paper at all, so it's all getting donated. And I will resist MIGHTILY whenever I see a sale price like that again.

Yup, those best of stacks are thin paper. They work OK if you cut them in smaller pieces for layering on a page, but if you use a whole piece of pp, it helps to back it with card stock. I learned my lesson with one of those stacks too!

I have a.LOT.of.K&co pads (thou I don't get the best of pads, I just don't prefer the thinner paper on those.) The reg pads are a nice weight, but like any mfg, I buy on the ones I like. I really love the Tim Coffey lines. Also love the Brenda Walton, Susan Winget, and the Kelly Panacci lines. Oh gosh...then there's Blue Awning...that was/is a great one!..And Que Sera...ohhhh...I could go on....

I'm the same way! I still love the Tim Coffey and Brenda Walton stuff from years ago. When Michaels cleared out all their individual sheets for around 25c each, I stocked up! And then I saw Susan Winget's paper pads.... omigosh, BEAUTIFUL!!! A year or so ago, there were Christmas pads from Elizabeth Brownd... traditional deep, rich, dark reds and greens...

Yup, K&Co is my fave brand, and I'm glad they make paper pads. Wish they'd put out more each year! I like the weight of their double-sided sheets in those pads.
