I feel the same way, I am getting sick of this show and its whiners. I am disappointed that it is scripted!
My "favorite" is when the couple has $150K and wants
Granite
Four bedrooms
Master bedroom with two large closet
Master bath with separate shower and tub
Double vanities
Three garages
And they whine
I have resorted to DVR'ing in so I can watch without listening!
I am going to look up that show on TLC, four houses?

I totally agree. I hardly ever watch HH anymore because of the "I want....."
I think that's why I like Property Brothers now. Love the beginning when they take the couple into their"dream" house with everything on their wish list and they ooh and ah about everything and then the brothers tell them the price and shoot them down to reality.

That is my favorite part of that show. They always have champagne taste on a beer budget. I love the looks on their faces when they are told how much all of their "must haves" really cost. | |

Here were my "must haves" when I went house hunting: 3 bedrooms, in the school district, in budget. That's it!
House Hunters International sometimes has episodes where the buyers get a fixer-upper. There was one where they bought what was basically an old stone barn to fix up and live in, and at the end of the show (you know, where typically they've been "living" in the house for 3 months), they hadn't made much progress and had definitely not moved it yet. But they seemed to still be enjoying the process! |
