Is 13.3" screen laptop large enough to make a 12 x 12 digi scrapbook page using Adobe PE 11? I am hoping to purchase a used MacBook Air for being lightweight but am afraid the screen size may be too small. Any thoughts?

If I had it to do again I'd go with the 15 inch or even 17 inch. I have the 13 inch Macbook pro, and while its portability is nice, the screen is a little too small for me. I have a wide-screen stand-alone monitor that I plug the Macbook into when I'm at home.

I love my big desktop monitor, but have worked happily in a small screen, just use lots for Cmd + and Cmd - to zoom in and out a lot

I also have the 13 inch MacBook Pro. I don't have an issue with the screen size. It works just fine for me. I zoom in and out a lot. I think I would still do that on a bigger screen.

I have a 13" MacBook Pro and the screen size did take a little getting used to. But like the other poster said, it's so much lighter than my old big and bulky PC so I love it. When I bought it I was concerned about he screen size but my nephew convinced to to go for it and suggested buying a bigger screen for when I'm scrapping. Sounded like an awesome idea but I haven't done it yet! I've just gotten used to it I guess. So instead just yesterday I bought an Epson wide format printer! I'm so excited! Can hardly wait for it to arrive!

i am with liz. i use a 13 inch macbook for portability, but plug into a cinema display when i am home and need to see better. 13 inches is perfectly fine. zooming in and out will do the trick if you are having trouble seeing details.

I agree...the size is fine as long as you're fine with zooming in for detail stuff. I used a smaller laptop forever to scrap til it died and I upgraded to a 15 inch screen. I like the size ok but the laptop is much heavier; so actually preferred my smaller one. Again if you don't mind sitting at a desk, plugging in a bigger monitor can work well for scrapping at home.

I have the macbook air and use it to digiscrap 12" x 12" daily. I love it. It is so light and easy to use that I don't mind zooming in. I zoomed in when I used my 17" Imac before too.

I have a 17 inch laptop and its way too heavy and bulky. Next time I'll go down to 15 for sure.
