I second the plastic scraper idea. It makes quick work of mat clean up!

My kit came with a scraper and it works wonders.

I wonder how a Magic Eraser would work? I'm going to try one right before I think the mat needs to be replaced to test it out.

I have actually had a lot of luck cleaning mats with a little soap, a soft brush and water. I rinse them off, cleaning gently and then let them airdry sticky side up on a paper towel. It works great!!!

I use the spatula that I bought for my Cricut. Works like a charm!

I use a plastic scraper too. Clears off the mat in a flash.

Just do it carefully because I have found that when I'm scraping with something metal - I'm also scraping the sticky off. I roll my mats back and pop the pieces off. They are very flexible so I always roll them away from me while gently taking the bits off with my nail.

I usually go over with a baby wipe (which loosens the paper a bit) and then gently scrape of the rest with an old credit card.
