I love gnocchi, and these are so easy and so good I just had to share. Don't hate me if you can't stop eating them

Super easy gnocchi

Thanks for the recipe. Gnocchi is so expensive to buy. I didn't know it was so easy to make!

Used to watch my "off the boat" Italian grandfather make these...he cut them using his thumb. They would MELT in your mouth...

I cut mine with a knife, and next time I do them I will pay more attention so that they end up being an even size. Just a cosmetic thing, they tasted great even if the sizes were uneven

Thanks for the recipe recommendation. I asked for and received a gnocchi board for Xmas, so I have been trying to find a simple recipe to try. Can't wait to try this one.

This is my mom's basic recipe... simple and even better when the potatos are left overs.

When I make mine, I also add a few teaspoons of the Pesto sauce mix from Knorr (in the envelopes section with the gravys and other envelope mixes). Then I boil, and drain, then toss in a little EVOO and sauted onions. So good!

Thanks for that video on rolling them. You know I will have to do that next time. And I have learned something new today, I did not know what a gnocchi board was!

Maite, what size potatoes should I use? Just the normal Idaho baking kind?

Nicole, yes, I used regular Idaho potatoes, and they were not the super large kind, just normal size. It made enough for 4 servings.

tfs the recipe looks simple and easy to put together. I like the idea of adding flavors. The video is a great addition. I added the recipe to my recipe box and plan on trying it out.

Great recipe! I use gnocchi as a side for beef stew or pot roast. It's fancier than mashed potatoes!
