to do my daughter's 1st year "baby book"? She's 10!  I took a photo of my daughter on her monthtly birthday & journalled about what she was doing and have always wanted to put it together into a book. I've been putting it off because I want it to be "perfect" and now I've finally decided to get a collection to sort of tie it all together and GET IT DONE!! There are so many great collections out there. I don't want it to be too baby girl-ish but just very pretty & classy. | |

I'm going to use the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss for our new granddaughter. It's not baby themed at all so it might not be what you are looking for but I thought I'd mention it anyway. I think it's such a pretty collection. |

I don't have specific suggestions on a collection but I am in the same situation, my oldest DD is 11 and she is the last to get a baby album.
I was thinking it would be fun to match the papers to her personality NOW. You could base the collection that: girly, sporty, sassy, etc. It's a perspective that my other albums don't have because they are all baby theme. |

Crate Paper's Random collection is gorgeous and full of beautiful jewel tones that I think would make for an amazing baby book. Very unique and classy. |

There are quite a few collections that aren't babyish but would be so darling for a 1st year album.
Websters Pages has some very classy and girly looking collections, like the older Girl Land and Best Friends. They also have the new Composition & Color that has both soft and bold colors while also having some trendy elements.
Carta Bella has Alphabet Junction that is a baby collection, but it has classic elements that make it cute while not being too cutesy. They also have True Friends that is brand new and so very cute!
October Afternoon has Cakewalk, while it's geared towards being a party collection it could be used for a baby album. It has soft colors and lots of great embellishments.
Honestly, there are so many. |

I love Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic. Lots of pink yellow gray and aqua. Soft enough for a baby book but not themey. There are some fun gold accents in the embellishments and it is on sale right now! | |

Simple stories had a Baby line a few years back, it was really soft and pretty, you might be able to still find it. Echo Park has some really nice lines that are quite pretty and girly without being babish, also DCWV had some baby lines, I think they were called Nanny's...I used it for my neices baby album.

I used bella blvds baby boy collection for my DS first year album and loved it. The colours were really fresh and bright without being overly cutesy. The baby girl collection looks just as versatile. | |

My Minds Eye has Collectible which is bright and fun, and Maggie Holmes has a new line with Crate Paper that's also bright but a little softer. She did a mini album using the line for her three year old on her blog: http://maggieholmes.typepad.com/my_weblog/2013/01/scrapbooking-mini-album.html

I know! There are SO many great lines. I love those Carta Bella & Crate Paper lines & then just saw the new Crate Paper Paper Heart and think that would even work. So hard to choose!!! | |

A lot of the Crate Paper lines work really well together. I tend to mix up the papers and embellishments a lot and love it.
Crate also has a new Valentine's line called Fourteen. It's really pretty! | |

Another vote for Webster's Pages. Girl Land and Sunday Picnic were already mentioned, and I love New Beginnings too...perfect for first year!
