I want to do a modified version of PL (getting a bit of a late start, I know). But I'm not sure which page protectors to use. The WRMK page protectors I've seen at Ms look sturdy, but they have a blue tinge that bothers me. The American Crafts are crystal clear, but it looks like Ms is phasing them out (please correct me if I'm wrong) and several people have commented that they don't like them, but didn't mention why. I don't have an As locally, but do have a Js. Also, I haven't looked online. Can you get better deals there?
Also, is there a case to be made for the Simple Stories (or other) page protectors?
Finally, can any of these page protectors be used interchangeably with any binders? I'm not a huge fan of the WRMK binders I've seen at Ms. I like the American Crafts version several folks online use, but I also like the style of the Simple Stories binder.
What should I consider as I make this decision. Thanks, Peas : )

I use WRMK albums along with WRMK, AC and Becky Higgin's protectors. They all fit in the albums and intermix just fine. Not sure what blue tinge you are seeing?

I think I understand the blue tinge thing. They kind of look that way when in a package or when you have a big stack of them, but they do not look that way individually. I'm not sure why it is - I think WRMK protectors are a little thicker than others, so maybe that's why?
I use BH and WRMK for my PL (too many abbreviations there, lol!). I like the BH protectors, but WRMK seem to hold up better and I like them just as much, so I will probably not buy any more of another brand.

Ditto. I do think that the BH ones might be just a *touch* more clear than the WRMK, but the WRMK are definitely the thickest and sturdiest, IMHO.

I think the Simple Stories are all 6x8. Nancy Diamano did a Scrap Your Stash video using the Snap products for a Disney album and she had some of the album dividers in a normal 3 ring, so if you wanted to use them as inserts it looks like you could! I am not sure if they fit in other 8x8 albums though.
I personally use a mix of page protectors. I do PL and am going back putting past years in albums so I use a LOT and recently picked up some at Hobby Lobby. Definitely less sturdy than the BH ones.

Thanks for your input ladies. Looks like WRMK is the clear winner (pun intended). I guess the blue tinge doesn't really show up in an album.

I have several packages of WRMK, and I agree that in the package they do have a blue look to them, but singly they look fine to me.
I just received my BH PL pages today, and while more clear looking in the package, they seems a bit flimsy & floppy in comparison to the WRMK. Plus I like the look of the tab with the 3 ring holes on the WRMK ones better as well.
So I saw that in March or April WRMK will be coming out with styles identical to some of the PL ones, so I think I will buy those when they are available. Because I definitely find I prefer the more substantial WRMK pages for my albums.
