I've always sat but now I'm thinking about trying to find a desk I can stand at....
I'm hesitant to change my entire area though if 'm not going to like it! eek! I suppose I could always get a high stool to balance it out if I need to sit too..... |

I even prefer to stand to prep food, cut, etc.

stander. An island (a portable kitchen island) is great to stand at, love mine. I have a cabinet underneath, can add baskets to the side, so works very well. |

I like to stand. I had my husband's friend build me a high table perfect for standing at. I am going to buy a stool with a back on it for occasions when I may want to sit.
When I go to my friend's 4 day crop weekends we all sit. It's ok but I like the freedom to move around. | |

I sit while actually putting pages together, but I get up a lot otherwise. It's hard for me to sit still for a long time, so I get up every half hour or so. Then, I'll come back to my work. Occasionally, I will stand, but it's usually only if in stamping. |

Oh, I stand. My awesome hubby built me a table out of two unfinished cabinets and some plywood. I can stand and create comfortably. But I also have a chair that is taller so I can sit too if I feel like it. But standing is great! | |

I'm a shorty so often I kneel on the chair. I get tired standing and while ideally I'd sit but I need to see my work area from above to get things straight...and ideally my feet would touch the floor so I can drag the wheelie chair to get various supplies! |

Today I was sitting because of back pain and I fell out of the chair reaching for something!  |

Both. Desk height by my computer for sitting, bar height at family dining table for standing. It depends on what is happening at the moment (reading, internetting, spraying, sticking, cricut-cutting, printing, etc). |

I have a counter height table, in the middle of my scrapbook room. I love to walk up to it from all sides & work on projects. |

A few years ago, my DH gave me a counter height table for my birthday. I LOVE it! I still have a computer desk I can sit at, but do most of my scrapping at my big table. Much better for my back to stand and move around as needed. I rarely scrap for hours at a time, though. I had a stool because I thought I'd like to be able to sit, but it just got in my way. |
