A bit of both. I have a stool for when I get tired of standing. Usually I have to be all over the place for materials, so standing is my most natural state.

Both. I usually stand for everything except adhering everything. Now I need to learn to scrap one handed since I cant scrap with the baby crying so I will be holding her a good bit |

Sit
I have never even thought about standing.
But I don't have anywhere high enough to stand at so I'll stay sitting |

I switch between the two and have periods where I can't sit for long and I need to stand to get anything done, at the moment I am sitting.

I sit. I have never thought of standing.
As I use the same desk for computer work as for scrapping it would be difficult to stand and I don't have room for two workspaces. But I like the idea of standing.
One day, when I win the lottery and can have a really large craft space I will have both options (I can dream can't I?) |

Mostly stand but I do have a high chair that I can use when I am tired an need to sit.
Have you thought about making a stand to sit on the table to raise the level of your work to suit your height. Far cheaper than a new table and it gives the option of sitting or standing.

Definitely sit!! However, if I stamp - I usually stand at my kitchen counter for some reason.

Sit. But my ideal is probably to sit on the floor and have everything spread around me and use a board or a very low table to scrap on!

I usually sit. When I started scrapbooking I was work a job where I was on my feet all day... the last thing I wanted was more standing.
I do often stand up and rearrange stuff on my layout for different perspective, though. |

Since I prefer a clear work surface, which requires me to move between my counter-height project table & supplies along an adjacent wall, standing works best for me. I also have a saddle stool nearby to lean against when contemplating element placement (or, more often, serve as a surface for stamped projects to dry) & a comfortable slipcovered accent chair & ottoman in a corner (where I sit to sketch or draft journaling). Because I use a regular dining table, I sit. Its not comfortable for me to stand over a lower table. But I would like to get a higher drafting table one day so I can sit or stand. |

I sit to think, but stand to work.
Me too! I have learned that standing gets my creativity going while working on a page, like I'm more free to pile on the layers and sprinkle in the embellishments! Of course, I also need some music to bee bop to!

I sit but I think I would like the freedom of standing. I was just thinking last night on how I could rearrange and change my room so I could have the option. |

I sit when I'm doing detail work like inking or fussy-cutting; but when I'm designing my page, moving things around and placing the elements, I stand. It's the only way I get a proper perspective of the layout. I need that extra foot or so of space between me and the layout to "see" things better. |

I stand. A really cheap way to try standing is to by a set of bed risers from the dollar store or Winners (in Canada) and set your normal table on them. After that I used them when I go to crops so that I am comfortable standing.

Sit, but usually stand up when using my trimmer just so I can see it better and also so I don't have to move it in front of me.
I don't have anything standing height but besides that it makes my legs hurt after a little bit. |

Similar to at least one other poster: I sit to think/plan and stand to work. Once *doing*, I need to move around and have 'straight-down' perspective.

I stand while resting my knee on a chair. If I were to sit, I would either need an adjustable chair that wouldn't look good at my dr table or a telephone book which would be uncomfortable! The only time I have ever sat was at the crop I went to in January. Everyone had an ergonomic chair. It was heavenly!!! |

Both. It depends on what I am doing. Journaling, I have to sit. Using paper trimmer, I have to stand. I stand to get everything lined up and attached. Actually, I guess I stand more than I sit. |

I stand bcz I'm in a smaller space so constantly moving around to get stuff out. At crops I sit. I do have a high stool type chair with a back I found in the Ikea clearance section, its perfect. My Dad built my counter height desk top with this nice white wood he gets from Lowe's for cheap.
But I try to stand as much as I can to help stay in shape! I wish I had a standing desk at work too.

I ALWAYS sit to scrap. I'm lazy like that.
BUT, I read a tip in a CK idea book a LONG time ago that once you are finished with a layout, you should lay it on the table or the floor and look at it while standing. This gives you a bird's eye view/perspective and alerts you to anything that might be a bit crooked or out of place. It also helps identify any trapped white space. I know it sounds crazy, but I have found that it DOES work for me.

A little of both. My scrap room, I sit. But if it is too cold down there or for whatever reason I need or just want to be upstairs, I will bring my stuff up and stand at my kitchen island. Sometimes though I do stand at my scrap table too. Different vantage point. LOL Gotta make sure everything is straight and lined up.
