I love new storage items too. It inspires me to be organised for about 2 days... then I'm back where I started |

What do you mean 'your real life friends' I thought we were your real life friends.
I do know what you mean when I'm so excited and then look at their face and their eyes are glazed over |

See I knew you guys would understand. I have my 4 year old and 10 month old "helping" me so I think this might have to be put off until their bedtime. |

Has the Ikea shipping become more reasonable yet? The closest Ikea for me is 3 hours away. I've tried to order online before but the shipping fees are always whackily high |

JRSHAPIRO: when I looked up shipping it was only $10 to ship it. I didn't think that was too bad. |

Jennifer, I will send you an pea mail. I actually live 15 mins away from Ikea. If you give me your zip code I can put the dimensions in and see what the actual Fed ex charge would be to ship it to you.

@ Mom2Tom - thank you so much for offering to do that. That's so sweet of you!
@ mari61804 - I just looked it up, you're right $10! I guess it's been a while since I looked at buying something from them online. I SWEAR the last time I looked the price to ship it was twice as much as the item cost! Granted it was one of those Alex drawers.
I think I'm going to order that cart today - yeah! Thank you!! |

Okay, just for kicks I put one of the Alex drawer units into my online cart to see how much shipping would be - $299!!!! The unit costs $119 I know it's heavy, but really! They don't want to sell it online.
Not that I need another one - I have two |

I want one but without a car, can't get it home from IKEA.
I could have it shipped, but REALLY want those Antonius trays to go in it, but they don't sell them online AND they are being discontinued.
Problems. |

Ooh I know what you mean. Maybe make it a girls day with a friend and offer to pitch in for gas? I am using a tray I bought at Ross and will do without Antonious tray. |

I bought one two weeks ago after seeing a thread here but am still waiting for our groundsman to make it.
I bought it for a library trolley and will be filling it with pencils, rubbers, rulers, scissors etc.
Are they easy to build? If so I might try putting it together myself!

Well I went and got mine today, and love it. My hubby and 5 yr old son put it together for me and I already started filling it.
The only bad part was everyone was at Ikea today and I do mean everyone, lol. There were no spots in their lot, I waited 31 mins in line and another 10 mins to get out of the parking lot. It was crazy.
I am in love so it was all worth it! |
