Maybe this is a "stupid" question...
What is the difference between the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher and those cheap mini staplers you can find at office max etc? Is the tiny Attacher really that much smaller?
Thanks! | |

The staplers at the office supply store normally use standard sized staples. The tiny attached tool is actually about the size of a normal stapler but the staples themselves are... Well... Tiny! Probably half the size of standard staples. I feel like it is more powerful too - I just stapled through a wood veneer no problem.

The Tiny Attacher staples are smaller. According to the package, standard staples are .5" long, a mini staple is .375" long, and a Tiny Attacher staple is .25" long.
I used to think they were a bit silly, but I got one a couple of weeks ago and I love it SO much!

Yes, they are much smaller. I didn't think I would get as much use out of it as I do. I love those little staples. |

I have just started using mine and love it. I just want to know how to open it up to staple those hard to reach spots.

OH MY! I love mine, and use it all the time for PL. I just found out recently that you can use it to staple wood veneer, which I NEVER would have imagined, because the staples are so small and cute.
I had NO idea that they could be opened up. Now I love it all the more. |

That was a great video. I'm trying to convince myself that I don't need one of these. |

You should probably just quit while you're ahead and give in. I love my Tiny Attacher. I had a baby stapler for a while, and still use it every now and then, but the TA *looks* better to me. And it's easier to hold and manipulate with a LO.

I just bought a Tiny Attacher recently.
But where do you find the refills? I looked at all the big box stores and didn't see any.

Sheltieluvr, Two Peas sells the refills. I bought a pack when I ordered my Tiny Attacher here.

I've seen the refills at my M's and J's and they're not very big [or good] by most standards.

Love my Tiny Attacher! Looks like the refills are restocked here at 2peas. Btw, they last a long time since you get over 1500 staples in that little package.
I never thought to use it on my veneers. That's a great idea - thanks for posting readsomething. And thanks for posting the video mamastew - did not know how to do that!
Now I love my Tiny Attacher even more!
