I need some tips on photographing a picture in an OLD yearbook. I am going to use the picture in a print newsletter and e-newsletter. Thanks.

If you can, I would scan it. Chances are you will have better results. But if you decide to photograph it, you need to get the book as flat as possible. Put the book near an open window and avoid flash if possible. Hold the camera parallel to the book.

You could place a glass plate (from a photo frame) on top of your page, to keep it flat.
