This isn't necessarily a 'scrapping' questions but I am in the midst of planning my daughter's first birthday party and I am trying to recreate an invitation that I found online. The invitations are letterpress (which is crazy expensive) and I thought I could do a similar technique using dry embossing. I can't seem to find any embossing folders though that are just the frame and I am determined to replicate these as much as possible. I need help! I know I am making this harder on myself than I should!

Thanks in advance for all your craft genius ideas!

The invites I am in love with are here.

You can emboss with a cuttlebug and a rubber mat.

Use chipboard (cereal box weight) and spellbinders squares or an exacto knife to cut the "frame" shape you want. Glue the frame to a second sheet of chipboard. Make a sandwich with your cardstock and then layer one of the tan embossing pads from spellbinders over top. Run through the cuttlebug. Voila, custom "embossing folder".

eta: Are you talking about the flourish, swirly one? If so, the are several folders from sizzix that come close to that one.
