...anyone else not really love the look of these? I find that I like how some people use them on pages but they aren't really my thing.

The only ones that I have liked are the stars. Not a fan of any of the others...

I love them on my altered art canvases but have yet to put them on my pages.

I do like how others have used them - cool textures! I also like a soft fabric or lacy background, like an embellishment or ribbon with the wood veneer contrasted on top.

I like the look, but I haven't purchased any. I don't need another thing to get addicted to! Prima makes some cool ones that are printed, not just plain wood.

Oooh, I LOVE them! You can see them on a layout I posted today. There is a close-up photo too. Scroll down below the card.

I didn't until here in the last 2 weeks but I got some in a kit and played around with them. Now I am addicted and have several different ones.

That is very much how I feel. I saw some at M's yesterday, but I just couldn't picture them on any layouts I have planned.

I did, however, punch out some stars from woodgrain paper recently to fake it. So, if M's would have had stars, I might have felt differently.

I didn't think I would ever use them but there are some (cameras and houses/buildings)included in an order of scrap goodies I'm hoping will be delivered in few days. I caved, I guess. I just wish there wasn't so many of the same thing in one package. Not sure how often I'll use a camera or house even though there are different styles in a package.

I recent got the arrows and birds. I like that they go such a long way though a mixed box would be good

I like them as something to add a bit of dimension. I struggle with ribbon, I feel like flowers are too girly for my boy pages and though I like buttons I never seem to have the color I want.

The veneers are a nice neutral and they are also so easy to recolor with a variety of mediums.

I get that they aren't for everyone though.

I really like them, the stars are my favorite. I think they make a really different type of embellishment.

Identicaltriplets love how you used them, beautiful, I have not seen that brand before.

Can't help you with this one / I don't jump on a ton of trends but apparently I'll buy anything made into a tiny veneer they are my crack and I can't get enough

I LOVE them! Just wish they would portion out a bigger variety of designs in each pack. In a lifetime I'll never use all the potty people I've acquired!

Thanks sassyscrapper and Diane. And Diane, the brand (Blue Fern Studios) is not for the wood veneers but for the chipboard. It is beautiful to work with!

I was just curious...thanks for the replies! I had been out of the scrapping loop for a few years and am seeing these everywhere. I like to see how others use supplies that I either don't have or am uncertain about.

I love them. Used one on a layout this morning. arrow

It doesn't show well in the photo, because I colored it the dark blue of the jute to tie it all together, but in person it really shows well, and was just that little touch I wanted.

I got some from Kaisercraft in a kit a few years ago, and loved them then, but couldn't find any more. So glad to see them back!
