Hi! My name is Debbie. I'm just rejoining the world of scrapbooking after a long break. 3 kids later I'm trying to get my groove back. Currently doing PL, subscribed to SC PL kit and working backward to get "caught up"(dirty word i know)but mostly committed to using up my stash. I have unopened club scrap kits and more SEI paper than I know what to do with...that's how long it's been
Anyway - I'm getting together all the "special" birthday cards for my kids birthdays - the ones from the grandparents. I previously used to old CM pocket pages and they were perfect for that. I've changed to WRMK albums and now I don't know how to the display the cards. any thoughts?

Welcome back. I make my own pocket pages by taking card stock, cutting by 1/3 or 1/4 and adhering it to a full sheet of cardstock with photo tape around three sides. I sometimes will use a pretty paper punch on the edge of the open side of the pocket to make it look prettier.
Another idea is to hole punch a corner of the cards and loop them on a metal ring. Instant keepsakes outside of albums!

Hi Debbie, welcome!! I would just make my own pockets with cardstock or maybe a clear pocket with a transparency sheet, so you can still see the pretty fronts of the cards.

For cards I bust out my 3 hole punch and add them straight to the rings on my album. Mostly they end up in the project life albums, unless there is a deeper story that fits better with my LOM albums

I agree with a pocket page for multiple cards or punching holes and adding directly into binder. I think I'm going to punch and add mine straight in with the random cards. For a large amount I plan to just punch holes and attach them together with binder rings. ( doing this with all the baby shower cards I received)

This is what I do, too. Except I sew the sides onto the cardstock with a sewing machine. I find tape or glue is not strong enough to hold cards.
I also use vellum a lot to make the pocket...you can see what is in there.
