Here that doesn't have this crazy stash of supplies??

Weird question, I know, but it seems like every time I come onto the GS boards there is at least one thread about having too many supplies. So I was just wondering if there is anyone else out there like me who really doesn't have a huge stash?

My stash isn't huge. I have plenty but I don't have a room dedicated to scrapping. I have a desk with a cabinet and a single paper holder that I use.

first, you have to define huge stash.

Do I have a roomful? No. I do have a fair amount of supplies and quite a bit of paper. But most of it squeezes into my corner.

I don't know that I would classify my stash as "huge". I do have a craft room but my supplies are sort of spread out. I seem to have most of what I need when I get started, so I would say it's "enough". Of course I remember when I was so excited to get a rolling tote so that ALL of my supplies could be contained in one place. I was happy then too.

As I do not know any other scrappers in real life, I don't know what a normal persons stash size would be. I am a hoarder. My stash could last a lifetime... Maybe two.

I thought I had a decent sized stash until I came to 2 peas. Now I realize it's miniscule (by 2 peas standards).

I don't have a ton of supplies either. I have a good amount but I don't have an entire room and don't really need one.

I have a very small stash. My PP fits into one Cropper Hopper and all my supplies together, including my Cameo and all my tools, would easily fit into one regular sized sterilite bin. Anything more than that would give me anxiety. I hate having too much stuff and too many options. A foot stack of paper would make me twitchy.

It's hard to say because I have not seen another scrapper's stash but I would say that I am a light weight. I currently have 6 paper collections and only bought 1 of the new CHA releases. I love stamps and tools, these are my down fall.

I used to think I had a lot and then I read a thread where people were saying that their stash of paper was taller than they were! I think all my paper plus my cardstock wouldn't come up to my knee! No criticism. I just got a chuckle out of that thread.

I think simply_lovely and I are long lost sisters!

I read about people placing large orders and just shake my head. I can't imagine needing that much stuff. However, I'm a big proponent of buying kits, so if I put my own kits together i probably would have orders like that.

I really am a minimalist at heart.

And a clutter-free freak, but who's talking about that

I don't have a huge stash. All my patterned paper, including scraps fits in a 1" tall box with room to spare. I actually need to purchase some patterned paper (I have no full sheets) and adhesive very soon, and I don't purchase many embellishments. I don't use a lot of supplies on my pages, so what I do buy lasts a long time. I do purge stuff that I know I'll no longer use, but I try to use stuff before it gets to that point. I also have no issue using old stash, as long as I like it.

I also would rather not have an excess of stuff, especially since my scrap area is in the lounge.

I also read the thread where people had paper stacks taller than they were... My papers would reach slightly above my ankles I think XD

I think I would be rather overwhelmed with a huge stash, where to begin sort of? I think that my small stash fits me since I'm a slow scrapper and if I had a huge stash it would just take too long for me to even make a dent

Not me. All of my pp fits easily in a 1" deep paper tote, cardstock is about the same in a separate bag. Tools and embellishments fit into two approx. 10" square baskets and two approx. 5" baskets. Roughly.

The fact that it's harder to find (quality) scrapbooking supplies in Sweden helps with keeping my stash low, as does the high prices. I also don't have a separate craft room so all of my papercrafting supplies have to fit in the far corner of my lounge and shelving unit. I've also gotten much better at just *using* my supplies, as I hoarded for many years. Now, of course, it's harder to use up all that old, low quality stuff but I'm trying.

Sewing and quilting supplies, however... Well, just don't ask about those.

I'm with kaleidoscope. You have to define what a large amount is. I scrap in a 2'x4' closet in my bedroom. My paper and supplies are contained within, along with my desk and whatnot. I've been scrapping since 04, and I live in a very rural town so to scrapbook without having to wait for a package to arrive I keep a certain amount of supplies on hand.

That being said, I use up almost all my paper from CHA to CHA. What I buy usually ends up on a project within 6 months, and I scrapbook every day. I don't feel the need to purge, nor do I think I have a large stash. My stash actually shrunk dramatically last year even though I spent more on it then than I have in years. I pretty much maintain the same amount of paper and supplies at all time to keep me creating at a rate that I enjoy.

Well, a "huge stash" is different to everyone-I think my stash is pretty large-then I see photos of other people's rooms...

I always feel like I have too much stuff, until I look at the posts of others showing their organization attemtps or latest shopping trip! Then I realize it really ISN'T that big of a deal to have 10 packages of letter stickers...some people have 10 times that!!

The only thing I think I DO have too much of is patterned paper. I am working on organizing it into kits with embellishments and getting it out of hiding so that I remember to use it instead of shopping for more. I have put myself on a "paper diet" until the end of April; then I will reassess.

I feel like I have a pretty big stash...maybe not huge by some standards, but plenty to last me a LONG time. The funny part is that I remember starting out (8 years ago) with a large tackle box, the kind with all the compartments. It was were I stored all my tools and embellishments. I have long since grown out of it...

This sounds like me. I have plenty of stuff...but nowhere near a tower of paper. Still, I could use a good purge but I have a hard time parting with stuff because I feel sure that I will one day be able to use it for the "perfect" project.
