Poor thing. I've been checking on her for a few days now. The other day the camera was focused right on her belly and she looked so HUGE!
I love the scandal of her baby daddy. I wonder if they will do DNA testing to know for sure that Walter really is the daddy. |

I love to watch it just like I love babies. But people are over-'breeding now. I would kill for a Dane but I can't afford the fee. I hope everyone who wants a dog will look at the shelter first.

These danes are being specifically bred for service dogs. They are a type that has to be a certain size and weight for the service they will perform, not to mention temperament. I'm normally against too much breeding as well but this type of selective breeding serves a much needed purpose. |

I didn't realize it was live, I thought it was a picture of puppies. I love Great Danes! My brother has had 2 of them. Sweetest dogs ever! But I think I will wait to see the pictures of the puppies later. I would be too grossed out watching the process. | |

As stated, these are specially bred service dogs. Each dog will go to a person in need, unless it is kept for breeding purposes or deemed unusable. If it can't be used for service, Carlene has a list a mile long of people that would take one of her doge (I think I am number 387). The puppies we are waiting on will be helping someone out in two years. She does breed often, but she can't keep up with the demand for her dogs. Dogs which she raises, trains, and then gives away freely to those that need them.
It's been a little ironic that the last two litters were two weeks apart. She tries to spread them out a little bit more than that, but sometimes it can't be helped. |

Wow, she is huge. A breeder I follow on FB had pups born 5 weeks ago - the mom had 10 pups and she wasn't that big.
I want one. I have a 6 yo dane, but I am looking for another. We also handle rescues/surrenders and find placements for them. | |

There will be no sound, these dog cams are in their home. I missed the last birth so I am looking forward to seeing this one. I had trouble last week at work with not being able to see it live, but on a weird 2 hour loop. | |

She's pushing a lot now. Bless her heart. She looks SO tired. Notice that she closes her mouth to push harder? And that she'll push a few times, and then seems like she gets up to check if any puppies are there? |

Some of the comments made during the birth of Noel's babies made me hesitate to post that Olive was in labor. Carlene knows what she's doing and those dogs have a lot of trust in her, as do I.

Neisey, I'm not an expert, but I've read online that if it goes too much longer than 1 hour between, you need to get vet help for the Mama. We're past an hour now since the first pup, but I'm sure these ladies on the cam know what they're doing. |
