Hey, all. I'm looking for a way to organize my wood veneer. Does anyone use a plastic box with dividers to do this? We're hoping to move soon, so I'm looking for an option with a hinged lid and some divided sections of different sizes so that I can sort them in there and add the box to my stack of other plastic boxes to be moved.
I love the veneers, but the pkgs are a nightmare -- once you open them, you can't close the pkg, and the pieces get everywhere.

Try looking in the jewelry section of your craft store. I bought a few small divided boxes for flair and wood veneer. You might want to check the fishing section at Walmart too.

check sporting goods areas for boxes designed to organize fishing tackle.
Same white snap lid boxes used in beading but a much wider variety of sizes and interior spaces AND generally much cheaper too!!

I also use the one that is a couple bucks in the jewlery dept of Ms. Of course, I have two for veneer and OA buttons. Then I have a couple more for deco buttons, charms, etc.
I also get them when on sale.

I bought an Art Bin at J's in the bead aisle. It's sturdy and you can adjust the sections. I love having them all organized now.

You can buy boxes like that at Walmart in the fishing section
They're for small fishing tackle like lures, weights and bobbers
I think Plano makes them.
They might sell them at Home Depot too but in the tool box section

I actually use the stacked bead storage rounds for mine. They screw together, are clear and take up very little space. I fit an entire box in each level.

I got a few of these for $1 each Dollar Tree, in the kids craft section. They hold a lot and stack nicely too - and the price is right!
Using them for wood veneer, flair, buttons, etc.,.

I also use the bead/floss craft plastic dividers. You should be able to find them either in the bead/jewelry aisle or the stitching/yarn aisle. Good luck!
