Although I have no where near as much to complain about as some of you do, living in the deep south like I do, I too am over winter.
It was cold and raining here AGAIN today. I'm tired of cold, wet days. I want to see some sunshine and the return of our hot, humid long days.

For the second year in a row we didn't get any snow worth mentioning. If I keep giving the ILs the gift of snow removal for Christmas, South Jersey may never see snow again

I'm over winter, too. This winter has sucked. I feel like sunshine may bring me better luck, too.
Too many gray days, too much rain, too many cold, damp days. We don't get much snow at all, so really, it's all pretty pointless, in my mind.

I was never even ready for fall, so very over both fall and winter. I am a summer lover but I am scared to admit it here (haha!). I know lots of peas love the fall and winter. I do love snow, but we have had so much snow and such freezing weather that even my kids are over it. Bring on the sun and heat and summer!!!

I'm usually not one to rush through any season because I really enjoy aspects of all of them. But this year I'm over winter and ready to move on. Not because of snow or cold temps, but because of this horrible flu season and all the illnesses that have made the rounds over and over again. DONE.

I LOVE winter! Seriously you never hear me complain about winter because I really hate summer.
This year is different! I am so over this winter! It has been terrible for me. This year I have been so sick, only been to church once this year, that's how sick I've been. I'm so tired of it. When I thought about it, last winter I was sick for 3 months with ear and respiratory stuff, really miserable. The year before it was all breathing stuff all winter, took lots of Prednisone that year. I decided I don't like winter as much as I've always thought I did!

I don't mind winter too much as long as it doesn't get too cold, but this year we've hardly had a winter at all, and it makes me sad. We want to go skiing at least one more time this season when the mountain isn't really icy, but unless we get a big dump of snow soon, I'm not sure if we'll make it.
Why don't some of you who keep getting blizzards send some of that snow this way?

my pleasure. We don't have a lot of snow(4 inches) but we keep getting a mix of 3-5 inches of snow followed by 10 degree weather. Then we get a 35 degree day followed by more snow. I'm done. I want fresh air, the smell of a grill, etc....

I sort of miss winter -I grew up in New England & moved to Florida when I was 18; I love it here but I do miss snow. (I don't miss how dark it got so early).
P.S.
My kids went swimming tonight in our backyard - it was 80 degrees as the big orange moon rose. |

Me too, so over it. I'm ready for warm sunshine. I've decided to protest winter today and not wear my furry lined BearPaw shoes. I'm wearing my new red Clarks I ordered last week. They look so cute and it feels good to be in real shoes again. Although my feet will probably freeze today. |

I have been OVER winter since the first snowflake fell, LOL!
Seriously though, we seem to be getting hit really hard this winter. And not just snow, but freezing on & off. It will be warm enough that the snow will start to melt, get everything wet, and then BAM, freezing temps turns everything to ice.
Usually, my dd's school is lucky to have ONE snow-day each season. This year we've had FIVE already because it's been so bad. |

NO! I don't enjoy summer, even if we're swimming---when there's a 115 heat index, even swimming isn't that fun and ---the water feels like a warm bath
I also LOVE wearing scarves, boots, leggings, etc. and being inside, all cozy with a fire, making homeade soup! Also LOVE to walk in cold weather, it invigorates me!
Hot weather makes me lethargic and want to do absolutely NOTHING---oh, and getting into your car on a hot summer afternoon--- pure torture!!!!! Trying to get your groceries home in time before everything spoils----ugh!!!!
Also, in the summer, our doggies can't be outside for more than 5 seconds, can't go to any regular parks or doggie parks--it's hard for them to get ALL their exercise and fun indoors---they wanna be outside!
