i'm so excited for this swap! my favorite part is getting to know new friends!
i just started my pinterest board & it's still pretty bare...
i only really started one because my friend told me i'd find some fun ideas for my son's bug party!
sooo, the pinterest part of this swap is the hardest for me. i don't know what i'm gonna do yet, but i'm sure i'll come up with something! do you mind if i take a look at your board? i need some ideas!
why do you have to travel so much? is it work related? it actually sounds like a lot of fun to me because i love to travel! you are so lucky!
you do not look old enough to have your oldest living in cali for 12 years!!! did you kick them out in elementary school?!!! j/k where in cali? i'm in southern ca.
anyway, about our swap...i started making a list on my phone with all the categories of this swap & then i listed a few things i thought of for each category (so i'll have it with me when i'm out shopping)...except the pinterest one!!! well, i do have a few ideas, but idk... i went to target today & bought my first item...a magazine!!! yeah!!!

hi toni! i agree! it's been super fun getting to know you!
my mom & i went shopping yesterday...all day! we started at a craft fair (where i picked up a few things), then we went to this awesome ribbon store!!! it was ribbon/flower/bling heaven!!! i bought all my ribbon for the color swap & things for my ss in the secret bunny swap...&, of course, you!!! we we there for a long time!!! lol!
i'm almost finished with everything on the whimsy list...just got the last few things from my fave color category & my fave holiday! i'm working on my fave hobby now. i think i have the pinterest part of the swap figured out...now just have to do it!

It's kind of far from OC, but I think it's worth it! It's on 7th St. x San Pedro...in LA.
I believe it is called United Crafts. An example is a 25 yd. roll of regular nylon ribbon is $.75 &
a 50 yd. roll of regular grosgrain ribbon is $1.95! It would be awesome to get a few of us together & share what we buy...we really don't need 25 or 50 yds...
Anyway, i'd post a pic if i knew how!

hey hey jenettycakes....how is your week going? I have been working and all that...its been quite a few weeks here...a girl from work who is a single mother has moved in with us for a bit...she has a little girl, 13 months old also...so, it has been quite interesting at our house...I am now an instant MIMI...and I am loving every minute of it... She is the sweetest little girl and my whole family is just smitten with her...
So, as far as your questions from last week...
No allergies
Drink rum and vodka...do not drink wine or beer
and I have 2 dogs...one Chihuahua, Pixie and a lab/husky mix named Sasha...funny thing is is the little one thinks she is big and the big one thinks she is little...Pixie does not take any bull from Sasha...lol but, would not know what to do without by furbabies...

Laura Mae, it's not that I'm not a girly girl. In fact, my favorite colors are pink and purple. morgainegeiser-Received my package yesterday. Loved everything. Pistachios are my favorite nut also. I've packed them in my picnic basket for spring break next week, along with my book and the magazines. Gonna read while sittin on the beach.
My best friend is envious of the envelope maker. Already put the green cube to work. My daughter has all her hair stuff in it in her bathroom.

No to allergies unless you want to shoot me up with amoxicillian.
I do have several fur babies, one very large senior Alaskan Malamute who has a tad of husky in him, Juno, and 2 kitties whom we all adore. We have scaled down these last 6 years with our pets as we used to foster momma cars and their kittens until I became preggo 3 years ago. Alas, it's for the best. I was in & out of the hospital ever since.
I am having a great time finding "my" favorite things for you. And I enjoy rum, too, especially when Summer approaches and our pool opens & entertaining begins lol!
How generous of you to open your home for a friend! And to be a MIMI, awwwww...you must be in heaven with that.
