I have some how become a morning person. I used to be a night owl but now it's rare that I stay up very late. I kind of miss that - I like the quiet solitude of night.

Neither... I'm a noon person!
I used to be a morning person and a night owl... staying up until midnight/waking up at 5am.

Definitely a morning person! I love getting everything done in the morning, first thing. Once it hits 9:00PM, I am beat!

I am neither. I need 8-10 hrs of sleep a night and of course I don't get that but if I go to sleep around 11:00 and get up around 8 I'm good to go all day. Unfortunately, I have to get up early 3 days during the week.

Night owl. I need around 9.5 hours sleep at night and find it a struggle to wake at 8.30am on workdays.
Would love to be a lark and make the most of the day!

By nature, I am a night owl. Since I work 730-430 though I get up early and have found that I love how much I get done when I get up early. Gradually I have made myself be a morning person.
We recently returned from Hawaii and due to the time change, I was up until 2 or 3 every morning, but I am getting back to an early morning arising - slowly.

I'm more productive towards the latter part of the day, although not as well as I used to. I have to get up at 5:00am to be at work by 7:00, but I'm often up until midnight or so.

Nightowl. I try to get to bed before 11:00 every night because I have to be at school at 7:15. On my days off and during the summer, I am immediately back to my midnight to 1:00 routine.

I'm one of the people that annoys others because I love mornings. I get up early even when I'm not working. I am also now a night owl. I worked 3rd shift for a year and got very used to staying up late. I learned how to run on 4 hours sleep and frequently still do that. It drives DH crazy and he asks me all the time how I do it.

I am a bit of both I think. I used to be in bed asleep by 10.30 each night (sometimes earlier) but a few years ago my body clock seemed to switch and I become more of a nightowl. I think it was being on holidays during Summer and I would sit up and scrap etc then I didn't get back into an earlier routine afterwards.
Now I go to bed at about 11 or 11.30 and read for an hour or so at least before I feel tired. I would love to get a bit more sleep but my body just doesn't seem to want to sleep any earlier.

|Posted: 3/3/2013 8:43:10 PM|I guess I am an extreme night owl. As soon as the sun goes down I get a shot energy that is like the sun coming out for the morning people. I just get more done after the sun goes then I can after it rises. I have always been this way. I have several people in my family who are night owls and very few who are morning people. There was a medical reason someone posted on 2peas awhile ago I forgot who posted or what it was called.
night owl info here is info on the medical reason
