I'm "casting" the a panel for the Paperclipping Roundtable on scrapbooking stories from everyday life.

Who are you curious about? Who would you love listening to about their normal days and what they find compelling enough to scrapbook about?

I can't think of specific names, but as someone without kids I'd love to hear from another child-less person. I know about Shimelle, Kelly Purkey, and Amy Tan (love all three of them), so maybe there is a less well-known kidless scrapper who could offer a new perspective.

By the way, I've really enjoyed listening to some of your older episodes, you usually feature a great mix of people who have kids and primarily scrap their families, divorced scrappers, childless scrappers, single scrappers, and so on. I think it's great to hear from people with very different personal lives.

While I understand that this site is at it's heart a store, I really appreciate seeing things that arent about having a ton of "Stuff", I would love to see people who stretch a dollar or ways to make awesome and trendy pages with only a few things...

Most of the (awesome) videos here on 2 peas start with "here-is-the-giant-pile-of brand-new-not-even-available-to-purchase-good-luck-ever-actually-getting-them supplies", and while the layouts are gorgeous, it's doesn't seem realistic.

I guess I'm looking for "regular people's" scrapbooking, who don't get tons of free product before it's even released.

I would love to hear from someone that is an "empty nester". I no longer have children living at home, so my everyday life can be rather boring. I don't know of a specific name of someone that has children in college.

I would also love to hear from Jen Gallacher, Nancy Damiano, or Lynn Ghahary. Love their style and would love to hear how they get their ideas for their everyday layouts.

I like both suggestions of childless scrappers and those who don't have the latest and greatest but still make great pages. And please, no one with Project Life. Regular layouts, please.

Another vote for childless scrappers, who do full LOs and not project life.

I don't mind how many supplies one has though. We all have enough stuff to be to recreate anything without having the latest and greatest product. *shrugs*

Another vote for childless scrappers! I'd love to hear from Kelly Purkey. I really enjoyed the recent shows with Amy Tan and Shimelle Laine.

Actually, I just discovered your podcast a few weeks ago and have really enjoyed EVERY show I've listened to (I've listened to about 30 so far). The advice and discussions are timeless. After the first show I listened to, I said out loud (about the show), "Where have you been all my life?!" and my boyfriend looked at me a little funny. True story.

Hey Noelle! This is so cool . . . I just discovered The Roundtable last month (I know, where have I BEEN!??!) and I have to say I'm just loving it! I prop my laptop up on the treadmill and away we go!

With regards to your post, my first thought was Becky Higgins. She seems to be THE name in "everyday" scrapping these days. But apparently the Peas ahead of me want non-PL scrappers. Fair enough ...

No specific names that I know of but I know Becky regularly links to some great scrappers and blogs that scrap the "everyday" theme. Not sure if that helps ...

Nancy Damanio and Jen Gallacher. They have always given me great ideas about everyday milestones with kids--whether a conversation or first emails, books, building projects, etc. Very helpful and inspiring.

Not exactly "everyday scrapbooking," but . . . I'd like to hear from some of the folks who are on the manufacturing end of the scrapbook and stamp companies: ProvoCraft, Silhouette, American Crafts, We R Memory Keepers, Echo Park, Hero Arts, Impression Obsession - just to name a few. I think it would be interesting to get their perspective on the industry in terms of where it's headed, what is popular and why, and basically what it's like "behind the scenes" of the scrapbook industry.

Ali Edwards & Stacy Julian both focus on everyday type Scrapbooking.

Also Celeste smith - she used to be paper and is now digital & does lots of everyday type Scrapbooking & at one time I think she actually made a scrapbook layout every day. You can find her at Masterful Scrapbook Design as one of the regular teachers.

Had to come back and say I find tons of inspiration from scrappers with kids, I just think with the 'everyday' subject, their every day with kids is very different than mine and I would find it easier to get ideas from someone with a similar lifestyle.

I'm another one that would love to see Paige Evans in a future episode! I love her work, and find lots of inspiration on her blog and here at Two Peas.

Yes! I have seen some really funny pages of hers about her love of paper towels or a particular item of clothing. I actually discovered Two Peas because she mentioned it was one of her favorite scrapbooking websites in one of her books, so I owe a lot to her!

I would love hearing from some child-free scrapbookers like Shimelle, Kelly Purkey and Amy Tangerine. Although they have children, I always like what Ali Edwards and Heidi Swapp have to say as well. And I really miss Ana Cabrera.

Although I love PL and do it, I'd like to hear about scrapbooking the everyday in a non-PL format.

I always love Shimelle and Kerri Bradford. And Wilna (p) and Karen (Sp?) she works for Google. Others, too, but those stand out for me.

Or, why not pick a normal, every day Pea who isn't making money scrapbooking? Or what I would really enjoy is a whole panel of scrappers who don't make any money from their hobby?

I am a little sick of hearing about Project Life, wondering why they aren't a sponsor, cause they should be paying for all of the coverage!

Or, have you covered scrapping your grand children?

And, btw, I am NOT a Schmoe.

Popping back in to thank you all for your thoughts!! You've given me names of ladies I don't know (which is what I wanted!) so I'm excited to check them out.

A lot of us are also on the same track with many of thoughts you expressed here. I am looking for a varied panel of someone with kids, someone without, and if I could find someone whose kids have moved out, that would be perfect!

Also, some of you mentioned other topics that are similar to what I've been working up in my mind for upcoming episodes!

Please feel free to share any additional names of people that would be great for this topic!

Shine On!

Shawnlyn72 - You'll be happy to learn that Izzy and I set up a policy for Paperclipping a couple years ago that states I do not accept any free product. I purchase mine for the full retail amount, just like everybody else, at the same time as everybody else.

I want to be able to recommend products in a totally unbiased way. I want to be able to say whether a product was worth the money I paid for it. Also, I don't want product to be my main focus, in the first place.

another vote for Cathy Z, I've been a fan of hers since I started this hobby. IMHO she keeps her journaling very REAL vs. some of the other stuff we're used to seeing.

may I also recommend 'leasy46'? Her children are grown...college I think. She has lots of youtube videos, does a lot of her own embellies out of things most of us already own. her passion is creating cards/embellies vs. 12x12 pages

I'd love to hear from people who scrapbook a lot about themselves, and who scrapbook the stories of their lives (both in the moment and stories developed over a longer period of time). I'd also to hear from people I haven't hear from before. I love Ali, SJ, Shimelle, etc., every time they are on the show, but I'd love to hear different perspectives, too.

And some British scrapbookers maybe?

Anyone that does youtube videos totally addicted, like Mercy Tiara etc.

Or how about Drew Scott he would give a fun perspective?

Thanks for the paperclipping roundtables I have been catching up recently and am loving them, it has broken my you tube obsession!

Nancy Damanio and Jen Gallacher, Susan Weinroth or Cathy Zielske. I would like some people who are child free and Don't travel constantly. I think the majority of us do not travel as much as Amy Tan and Kelley, so I can't always relate to all the layouts they do. Another good one is Lisa Truesdale. She works for SC, but scraps everyday moments.

Rachel Kaufman from scrapbooking from the inside out -- she recently adopted but did tons of pages before then and since that aren't kid-related. Also, I appreciate hearing from scrappers with diverse families (like Rachel's). There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a Caucasian female SAHM of the Mormon faith, truly, I respect all women's right to choose what is best for their families. However, the reality is that there are many different ways to make a family, and IMHO some diversity among scrappers featured is always nice.

Just wanted to come back and say that I do enjoy seeing people's kid LOs. I've scraplifted or been inspired by many, many pages about children. It's just that when it comes to the subject matter being scrapped they aren't as relevant to my "everyday" (as someone else said).

I would love to see Drew Scott (or maybe some of the other male scrappers on our recent male scrappers thread...maybe someone has the link?). I think he would bring a totally fresh perspective!

I would like some people who are child free and Don't travel constantly. I think the majority of us do not travel as much as Amy Tan and Kelley, so I can't always relate to all the layouts they do.

I agree with this too. I love Kelly Purkey's style, but it seems like a lot of her pages are about travel or going to new/favorite restaurants, and I don't do either of those things very often (I don't think those are really "everyday" subjects either).

My vote is for Shimelle and Mercytiara.

I don't really care if they have kids or not, but it would be neat to have a mix. Because I do feel like everyday is easier to scrapbook with kids -- their growth, the cute little things they do, drawings, etc.

I always LOVE when Shimelle and Stacey Julian are on, but someone you've never had on before that I would adore listening to is Amber from Life in Color Photography. I've been following her for years now and love her pages.

Life in Color

eta - After reading through all the comments here, I think Amber would be a really good fit because she was scrapping long before she got married + had kids, so she certainly understands both sides of that coin. She also seems to do a lot more every-day type layouts and mini books instead of all event type scrapping.

Anyway, I have to say that I am getting excited for this Paperclipping Roundtable

I was interested to hear you don't get free product Noelle. I have to admit to being against the splurging of whole packets of new stash on layouts, it isn't a realistic comparison for the ordinary scrapbooker, it is like us comparing our forms against photo shopped super models

I've listened to every episode of Paperclipping (some of them several times!) so I know that a lot of the above mentioned have either already been on or are regulars. Here's my list...

Stacy Julian - I know she's a regular but she's just so dang wonderful
Cathy Z. - I know she's been on but she's such a hoot and so talented

Briana Johnson - Jenni Bowlin DT member who recently started PL in a monthly and events format - she inspired me to start a monthly PL and she is an excellent designer!

Kelly Noel - she has the best grip on design - just rocks every layout and has incredible photos

Marie Lottermoser - Crate Paper DT Member - famous for her December Daily and mini-albums - she has such a unique incredible style that I just drool over everything she does

Susan Weinroth - major awesome design skills - photos are killer - loves scrapping the everyday

Doris Sander - Creative Director for Jenni Bowlin - prolific scrapper who loves talking scrapbooking (creative side and business side) - she embraces everyday scrapping and has a unique style

I'd love for you to consider any of these as they are all awesome!!!
