Good Tuesday Morning. Just thought I would wish everyone a wonderful day. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed right now as I have my first workshop as a Stampin' Up demonstrator on Sunday and so far we have 15 guests coming. OH NO!! I'm excited for the hostess and myself but nervous all at the same time.
Plus I have a broken toe from my dog, long story it happened on Saturday and it has been ok over the weekend but once I put on my shoes for work today I was in great pain. Here's to having 4:00 get here quickly.
I was hoping to get in my scraproom on Sunday but nope my dh had other plans so instead of relaxing and enjoying being at home we were gone most of the day. So I'm hoping I can get some LO's done in the evenings or for sure on Saturday. |

TESSA I'm sure you'll be great at the StampinUp class...with 15 enthusiastic participants and maybe more, the energy will be high and you can only succeed under those circumstances. Have a great time.
Was it you who broke the toe? Ouch. I did that once, when I was a teenager. Long story short, I kicked my brother while I was barefoot. Not a good idea. LOL Hope you can find some comfortable, roomy shoes til it heals.
THERESA sick again? What's with your immune system girl? Yous is acting worse than mine and I DON"T HAVE AN IMMUNE SYSTEM. I made a big pot of homemade chicken soup last night; wish you were closer so I could send some over. Have to do with virtual soup and a hug. Hope you feel better soon. Hope it's not pneumonia. NYLENE is still recovering from that herself.
Between this site, which apparently uploaded new servers last night, and my computer which shut down with no notice to upgrade windows only to wipe out all my antivirus settings, so I had to redo all of that; after an hour of fussing I can finally get back on the internet to check email and the threads. No need to hurry though as the seems we're pretty quiet around here the last few days.
My boys start Ultimate Frisbee today. I'm still working on the application packets (why do they have to make them so confusing asking for information you don't have like what team they are on when they won't decide that for over a week)...ugh. I hate forms; they confuse me.
Found these really tasty gluten-free dark chocolate almond florentine cookies at Walmart the other day. And though they are a bit on the expensive side, they sure are yummy. THis comes from a girl who usually can't eat cookies. But I remember florentines from when I was a kid and they were my favorites. Obviously they still are. LOL
I got a boatload of tasks on my TO DO today so I'm off TO DO.

Praise mark!
Thanks for the new thread and for the challenges.
Welcome to Tessa and Happy Birthday to Ellen.
I think I may FINALLY be at the end of my cold. Today I'm trying to get caught up on some house cleaning. It is hard to believe how dirty things can get in a short amount of time.
I truly can not believe it is March already.
Later all! |

ok looks like I won't be scrapping digitally for awhile. Windows did an automatic update on my laptop today--I hate those where it just shuts down and reboots with no warning, no time to save what you're working on, nada. Ok with the update, it deactivated my antivirus suite and it deactivated the licensing for my photoshop elements7. Not sure if it messed with any other programs; time will tell.I can not get into PSE, nor will it let me uninstall it. Since I downloaded it rather than have a physical disc copy, I can't seem to be able to reinstall it despite the fact the setup.exe and installer files are in a folder. When I attempt to do that, it tries to uninstall current version but stops midway saying it is unsuccessful. I contacted Adobe customer service but they won't talk to me without a serial number and I can't seem to access that either. So bottom line, I have no PSE.
Nor do I have funds to upgrade (as I'm still struggling with how to fund $600 for the boys band fieldtrip, $200 for their Ultimate frisbee, and $90 for their 8th grade graduation cruise, plus both need soccer cleats (~$100) and Noah informed me yesterday he needs a new binder (~$17)....this is all extra expenses to come out of my not-enough-to-pay-monthly-bills income as it is. FInancial stress is bad enough but now I can't even scrap to relieve that stress.
Anyone upgrade to a more current PSE and have an older version you might consider selling or recycling? I'll go online later to see if I can pick up an non-current version for less, but really I may just need to wait this one out til I resolve the expenses for the boys. a quick search of Ebay says I can get a copy of PSE7 for ~$20 +S/H and each version up goes up about $10. So if I went to the newest version I could snag one between $50-$55+S/H. That's not awful but I still will need to wait a bit. Maybe I should try the trial version of PSE11 before I think about wanting to upgrade...I could try it out for 30 days free I think. I'll keep you posted. I might have my old PSE3 around here somewhere on an old computer if I get desparate. LOL
I'll still come and chat, but you won't be seeing any new LOs from me til I can work out this glitch.

Hello ladies,
I have posted TWICE on March's lovely thread here and both times it did not work! The first time I thought it was fine, but when I went back my past was not there (Sunday night). Then yesterday I tried to post again and the whole site was down!
I'm here! I'm almost praised up and I feel like I know how y'all are doin'. But now I don't have time to type everything I wanted to say!!
I should introduce myself to TESSA: Hi, I'm Barbara. I am a SAHM of two girls, Julia (almost 5) and Charlotte (1+ and just now waking from her afternoon nap). I have been married to Stuart for 7+ years. We've been a couple for 8 years, and friends for 21 years. We live in Santa Cruz, California -- not even a little close to where they film The Big Bang Theory, so we were not going to get to see THERESA anyway!
OK, I have to go already. Hopefully I'll be back tonight!

WOW, quiet up here. I'm thinking this post isn't even gonna work.
Tammy -- thinking of Gary and hoping something good happens this week.
Nylene & Theresa, I hope you are both feeling better.
Theresa -- sorry you didn't get tickets to BBT, but that hotel sounds amazing! I'm sure your trip will be lovely.
Debi - I can't believe that happened to your PSE! Don't you feel like Microsoft just robbed you!? It happened to me once, I couldn't figure out what the #%@$! happened until Stuart pointed out there had been Windows updates. I get sooooooooooo angry when that stuff happens. Try calling Microsoft to see if they can help you. Did you have a serial # for PSE? If you did, Adobe should have some record of it...usually associated with your email address. I will look around to see what I have. I know I upgraded when mine got messed up, but I can't remember if I had a box, or where to find my serial #s (I have all that in a email somewhere.)
Awfully quiet up here. I'm thinking the servers are down and I'm gonna be the last one to know. I think I'll copy this text in case I want to paste it later!!

Quick note from me --
I have another tooth pulled today. The actual procedure went well, but since the anesthesia wore off I've been in pain Hoping to feel better tomorrow.
Barbara- I think there is just something funky going on with Two Peas. I'm getting sooooooo tired of their tech issues. I noticed on the Young Scrappers thread that on the main message board page, it will show the last post at, say, 12:00pm but when I go to click on the thread, the last post was actually earlier than that. Well, I figured out that if I post something, that missing post magically appears! It's really weird.
okay, need to get back to resting! |

morning girls -
I had had a reply yesterday, but I hit something and lost it. I tried retrieving it, but alas was not able to and then I had to get going.
Theresa - I am so sorry you're under the weather; on the upside, you don't have to go to work, and hopefully by the time you're better, the weather will be better also. Get lots of rest.
Nylene - you, too What did the doctor say?
Monica B - Seems to me like almost every site I'm on has some issue or another tech-wise. Even at school and at J's, the computers give us a hard time...I'm not sure why this world is so adamant on becoming so dependent on computers. One of these days they're all going to crash at the same time...won't that be fun?
Monica - Can you also link us to a couple of more examples of your challenge? Or is there someone on 2Ps who does this? I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing with it.
Debi - Lots of hugs to ya, girl. Sounds disastrous. We've gone through so many computers here, it's not even funny. The ones that were
affected were never even able to be fixed (or they didn't feel it was worth it.) We spent a few hundred dollars trying to fix them over the years. It's cheaper to buy a new one, it seems. Sad as that sounds. Good luck with it all...and I'm sorry you won't be able to scrap for a while. That would make me nuts (it's different when it's my choice not to, LOL).
Tammy - wishing Gary lots of luck. Sending out huge amounts of prayers.
Well, I know there is more, but I'm drawing a blank right now.
Wishing you all a terrific Wednesday.
p.s. Debi/Theresa - thanks for the bookmark challenges!

Good morning, something very weird happened yesterday with my boss and our bookkeeper, my boss is an Alcoholic in recovery and still has the traits that come with it, although with me so far he has been a gentleman, yesterday he insulted our bookkeeper to the point he called her a thieve, she is very honest and hardworking, he just is very stingy, about paying his employees after that first raised he gave me, the one he promised after 6 month is not happening. But what is worse, he also treated a client very rudely yesterday morning. He does a lot of stuff that should not be done, I'm afraid this bookkeeper may turn him in. I need this job, l started looking for work, if he spoke to me the way he speaks to others I will tell him just were to go. I hope today he is better. We lost our lead detection tech, and he had to go in the cold water and do them yesterday maybe that's why he was like that but heck, no excuse for abuse. Wish me luck today.
Tammy...Praying for Gary that something great comes his way.
Debi...That's terrible, I don't think I have ever had that happened to me before where microsoft updated my computer without me telling them to. Hope you can get it resolve.
Waving hello to everyone, need to get Natalie up and ready for school. | |

Good Morning Peas!
I am in the frozen tundra today...we got lots of snow last night. Unfortunately, I don't think I'm snowed in though...so I'll be trotting off to work, as long as I can get out of my driveway.
Debi - I just got PSE 11 a couple of weeks ago. I haven't played with it a ton, but was able to figure out how to edit some photos and make a photomerge (which is in a different place). I had been using PSE 7 up until then. I hate that yours isn't working, you use it so much.
Tessa - So sorry about your toe, that is a huge bummer. It's awesome that you have 15 people coming to your first show...I hope you sell lots of stuff!
Melanie - Hi lady!!! I hope you feel better soon, we have several on the thread that are sick right now. I know what you mean about the house getting dirty fast, I swear that there is a dust factory in my house...it's ridiculous.
Theresa - I hope you have big fun on your vacation, it sounds like it will be awesome...I'm jealous.
Well, I guess I should get going, I may have to get dh to go outside to shovel snow so that I can get to work.
Have a nice day all!

Debi - That stinks about your computer. We just got a new laptop since our other business computer was on its last legs. It has Windows 8 and I'm not a fan. Don't know if I ever will be. Anyway, I've kind of always wanted to try PSE so I've been looking into versions. Do you think it best to start with the newest one since I've never had any before? I mainly want it so I can do some more in depth photo editing and use photo templates. Wish I had some advice for you about you money issues. Wish you could come to SD. There are lots of jobs out here, but seems people just don't want to move here. I really think our state has a lot to offer . And the winters really aren't THAT bad!
Got a little house cleaning done yesterday. I was disgusted by how dirty my kitchen floor was. Need to keep chipping away a day at a time.
Here is one layout from me. I don't know that it fits any of the challenges but I'll post anyway.

MELANIE I think any new operating system or software version takes getting used to as we are creatures of habit and like what is familiar. Heck we just upgraded from XP to WIndows7 here with our last computers so don't think I'll be jumping on the Windows8 band wagon soon, although most people seem to like it.
As for PSE, there are lots of tutorials with how to use it using older versions. PSE10 and before look similar; PSE11 has a completely new interface so looks different (kind of like how different Windows8 looks from Windows7) yet has all the same functions. You could always download the free 30 day trial of PSE11 from Adobe and see if you like it and it may work best with the new Windows8 OS. I'm sure lots of tutorials already have popped up using it...and if you're clever you can watch old version tutorials and transfer the same techniques to the newer version. Functionality is the same, just location is different.
I think I may upgrade to PSE11 myself, not because I want the newer version (I was perfectly happy with PSE7) but at least if I have troubles with it, Adobe will support it. Personally I'm of the type you have to drag kicking and screaming to upgrade, but since Windows update so kindly destroyed my PSE7 I guess I'm at least screaming--LOL
Thanks MONICA B for all the samples of reverse (whatever you called it) technique. That helps clarify it.
I'm bored but not motivated so here I sit....drumming my fingers, trying to figure out what I want to do next.
Hope you all are keeping busy.

I'm so mad at myself! I spilled water on my laptop tonight. The actual computer seems okay, but my keyboard is all messed up I got some tips from other people about leaving it upside down and not messing with it for a couple of days... let it dry out. I sure hope it works!
I'm borrowing my mom's laptop right now, but if I'm not around for a couple of days, that's why! |

Morning all. Coughed all night but feel a little better. Have some volume back to my voice but still scratchy sounding. My gripe this morning is a sore spot on the side of my head. About the size of a nickel, sore to touch, nothing there, not even red, just hurts like crazy on the outside. Every now and then it feels like a knife is stabbing through it all the way to the skull, just for a second, then the inside doesn't hurt at all. Crazy!
We have tickets to Monty Python's Spamalot (broadway show) tonight and I sure want to go, so say big time prayers that I'll feel better by then.
Monica, bummer about the keyboard. Hope it'll work when it's dry. If not, you can take it to a computer repair shop, they sometimes have extra cases (when the hard drive dies for example) and they can use your computer fix it.

hey girls -
woke up really late this morning so wasn't able to get on. Had to rush around to get ready for work. Another weary, test driven, computer probing workday. When we test on the computers I have to run all over the room to read to different people; it's exhausting sometimes, and I also get flustered with what I'm reading because they're all on different questions, etc. oh, well... I almost cried today when helping one of the kids on his hw from yesterday (he was absent) and he knew 4 different math operations that he didn't have to ask me on. Heck, I almost fell off the chair! If only he tested well - he freezes up. But, still, I was so stinkin' happy that someone actually learned something!
My new boss lady wasn't there today, so today was especially nice...isn't that sad? I'm really, really trying, honestly I am. It's just really, really hard with her.
Monica B - thank you sooooo much for those links! I'm really sorry about your keyboard; I hope it dries up, and soon.
Tammy - How are/did the interviews go? Any word yet? I know it takes a while, but you never know.
Theresa - I'm glad you're feeling a little better anyway. Sorry about the spot on your head. That sounds a little weird. I hope it's just some fluke. Have it checked out if you get too worried, or it doesn't go away. we got very little snow that stuck too, and we had to go to school while it was snowing, and of course the kids couldn't stop looking out the windows hoping for more and more.
Debi - good luck with the bid! Hope you get it.
Diana - what a wicked boss. he's not going to have very many employees around if he acts like that. Good luck.
Tina - I'm sure the kids got the day off, but I'm sorry you didn't, but I hope you were careful.
I know there's more, but I'm going to try and get something done tonight before Big Bang Theory and Greys come on, or I fall asleep, LOL
Have a great night. |

Hi Everyone!
Geeze Debi - how awful about your scrapping program! I do hope you can get a new one, somehow. I just HATE to think about you not being able to scrap! I've had Microsoft turn my computer off too, but since I'm not usually doing anything very important, it's more of an inconvenience than anything. But to have them just erase your program - they should compensate you in some way. It's a shame it won't ever happen.
I hope that everyone who is sick starts feeling better SOON!
Not much is happening here. It won't be too long until the weekend crop (Mar. 22) so I'm trying hard to finish all the prep work for the pet album. I have a lot done but there's still a lot to do!
Take care, everyone.

Hey ladies!!!
Just thought I'd run by to see how all of you are doing. Things here are mellow tonight. I'm looking forward to tomorrow...it's almost the weekend...yay! We are taking Mallory to spend the night with Olivia tomorrow, she is super excited. I thought it was sweet of O to call and invite her. Mallory was downstairs picking out clothes and trying to get packed...she made me laugh when she said when she said she was going to take a string of pearls (fake, of course) to wear to college.
Monica- I hope you get your laptop dried out. I agree with Debi about the rice, that's how we dried out dh's cell phone that got wet, it worked fine afterwards.
Cathy - Hi!!!
Toni - I hope you have an easy day tomorrow. It's great that one of your little dudes at school actually understood what he was being taught...very cool. Our kids were on a 2 hour delay yesterday, we are so used to getting a lot of snow here, it takes a lot of it for them to close school. We got 6 inches and off they went to school, Mal was just happy to get the extra couple of hours, she could REALLY primp and curl her hair forever that way.
Have a happy evening all!

I guess I need to try the rice idea. I turned on my laptop tonight... Got a black "Toshiba" screen & high-pitched beeping noise I'm so bummed. I know I'm way too hooked on technology, but it's also the idea that I could lose all my photos, documents, etc. |

Morning all. Thanks for the prayers, I made it to Spamalot and also thanks to a whole bag of cough drops I really enjoyed it. So funny! Warped, totally not politically correct by any means and pretty much makes fun of everyone but gosh was it good! Can see why it won a Tony and why it's been on Broadway for so long. Lot of coughing people there so when I did have a few break throughs it wasn't too noticeable. Randy, Trish and Jackson all loved it too. Speaking of Jackson, he's spending the night here tonight. Have his 13th birthday party tomorrow in Bowling Green at a Paint Gun place. I'm transporting kids and taking photos. Other than that will just be sitting in a dark corner somewhere.
Debi, yes, low B-12 can cause you to be sleepy all the time but so can being depressed. BUY the PSE!
Toni, hurray for a break through with a student, how proud you must feel. Stupid politicians in your area thinking you're not needed there!!!! They should see moments like that, they'd change their mind.
Going to go read the paper and put the sheets in the washer. Randy did the rest of the laundry yesterday, yeah, he can be sweet like that.

THERESA I'm glad you got to go to the show and enjoyed it. Sounds fun. I always liked going to comedy shows (if they weren't too raunchy--I don't find that humorous). Hope you are feeling better soon.
I'm trying to buy PSE11--I have a bid in an EBAY auction for a price I can't afford but will justify spending for my own sanity. I don't think I'm any more depressed than normal, so guessing it's the B12.
MICHELLE how much does it s/h cost to mail B12 vials to Seattle, WA?
Went to an elementary school production of Suessical Jr last night. A friend's dd had a leading part (she did very well) in it as well as the friend, who acts in local productions for a living herself, was the director. She did a good job with the actual play but it did make me appreciate more the director we had when the boys did plays in their elementary school.
The thing that was missing in last night's performance was having the actors who were off-stage be quiet and respectful to those who were on-stage. They were not. There were 62 kids in the play.--and those off-stage were running around the cafeteria, chatting and giggling with each other, making noise as were some of the smaller children of the families who came to watch. THAT would not have been tolerated at our school, and I'm grateful it wasn't, as it took away from the performance as well as made it difficult to hear. The sad part was they were recording THIS performance for the families to have on DVD.
It was nice to see my friend though and her dd who has grown up to be a beautiful young woman. We haven't seen each other in a few years despite the fact we are within 30 miles of each other. Used to camp together on Labor Day til she went through a divorce and her ex got the camping property and cabin. We've seen each other through childbirth, divorce and scrapbooking--I don't know if she still does but she used to make some awesome digital pages. She is always so busy with her shows, it's hard to catch her on downtime, but I hope we stay in contact.
It's Friday...clean out your car and your purse today.

Hi Everyone!
Theresa - I'm so glad you enjoyed Spamalot. Mark and I go to the theater often but I've never seen that show. I'm not a huge fan of Monty Python, so when we get tickests to see Spamalot, I make Mark go with someone else. Maybe I should see it someday. Is it raunchy? Because I'm like Debi, I hate raunchy humor. (We get season tickets to two theaters, we don't have a choice of what's playing.)
Debi - don't EVER go see Spring Awakening. It was SOOOOOOO bad, so raunchy, that we actually walked out.
So Friday is 'clean your car and purse' day? Well, since it's SNOWING outside, I don't think I'll get to my car. My purse is pretty much always in order - it weighs a TON so I tend not to carry around anything I don't need! I have no idea why it weighs so much.
Yes, we are getting more snow. We were only supposed to have snow showers, mixed with rain. But we got a least 6 inches of snow today! Hopefully it won't last long. I have had enough of winter!
Tina - Hi! I hope Mallory and Olivia have a great time together this weekend. How far away is Olivia's school?
Not much else is new. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

morning girls -
I'm off to J's but wanted to run by and wish everyone a super Saturday.
Hope you all get some scrappy time in, and hope everyone is healthy and the weather is looking a little better for all.
Cathy - I'm originally from CT. I left when I was 20 though, so it was a really long time ago. I still have relatives and friends up there though. I love CT

Morning. It's a beautiful day here, supposed to be close to 70.
Debi, hurray for getting a great deal on PSE 11. Have to let me know if you like it or how different it is. I'm still on PSE 7. I was going to upgrade but they said 8, 9, and 10 didn't have a lot of benefits. Eleven they say is much better.
Cathy, Spamalot has "potty humor" in it but Jackson is just 13 and he loved it. We wouldn't let him see something that was raunchy. Then again, he's been watching it since he was about 7. It's warped humor and it is certainly an acquired taste. It basically takes a lot of the most famous skits from the show and puts them together in a musical. If you don't like the skits (do a you tube search) then you won't like the musical.
Monica, hope the rice bath is curing your laptop.
Headed to the shower soon but wanted to stop by before I got ready to leave. Will be a long day I'm sure. Still not over this bug but feeling much better every day. Jackson spent the night last night and we have to be back to his house by 9:30 to go to his big birthday party paint gun party in Bowling Green (a little over an hour away). Bless his heart, my coughing woke him up several times and then when Randy came down the hall to go to work early this morning it liked to scared him to death so needless to say, he didn't get a lot of sleep. He was awake when I got up, had already made up his bed and was quietly playing with Jeremy's Legos (best investment ever--25 years of blocks still going strong!)

Paintball was quite the success. 16 kids (14 boys, 2 brave girls) and then 2 adults (not me) hit the field clean but came back out not so clean! The weather was perfect and even though it was outside the fresh air didn't seem to bother me. Now after I got home and my neighbor is evidently burning something in the yard I've been coughing my head off!
I uploaded two cards I did this week.

I went to visit Mom and do our weekly grocery shopping. I'm dealing with some odd medical issue right now...swelling around my ribcage...very tender. Not sure what is causing it.
I'm thrilled to say I'll be back scrapping soon...my PSE11 was shipped yesterday so I should have it by Wednesday.
But I'm very sad to say that [two peas has decided to drop the digital scrapbooking component from their site as of March 31st. I know the designers have been let go and their products will be taken out of the store at that time.
So if there is anything you've been eyeing to buy to add to your digi stash NOW IS THE TIME! I hear they will be having a sale soon so get your wishlist updated. I have $45 of products sitting in my cart at the moment, hoping the sale reduces the price some so I can buy it, otherwise I'll have to narrow it down to the $16 of GC credits I have left. I do not know if the digiboard, the digital tutorials and/or the digital gallery will be removed. I hope not but I think I'll take some time backing up my BOOKMARKS and my posted files (since this is the only record of pages I have after losing nearly 500 LO to a computer crash)just in case.
THERESA I was using PSE7 and loved it...it had enough bells and whistles to keep me happy. I think PSE11 will take a little getting used to the new interface, not as all in one place in front of you as the previous versions. Although it uses light gray instead of the black bg that PSE7 uses. I'll like that better. As far as I know not too many new things have been added; I think there is a text path option, a new quicker way to remove an object from a photo and fill in the background using the healing brush instead of the clone tool, it's easier to load actions. Other than that not sure what else that I will use. Like I said, PSE7 was plenty powerful for me.
As for Legos I always thought they'd be a great investment too since as a kid (before legos were invented) we had a little white brick set you could build houses with and I loved to play with it, but alas, we have tons of Legos (compliments of various people gifting the boys for one or another ocassion and they NEVER play with them. Who knew?
I MAY BE AN HOUR LATE, as my clocks have not been sprung forward yet, but my computer is on time. I watched it self change at 2 a.m. as I was heading for bed. LOL And as a side, I had to keep reminding my mom it was SPRING FORWARD because she kept saying SETTING HER CLOCKS BACK...oy I hope she's not 2 hour late...
MONICA B is the laptop any better? Did you try the rice? You can always take out the hard drive and put it in the rice too to dry. Usually there is a symbol of 3 stacked circles on the back of the computer to tell you where it is located. Takes a small phillips screwdriver to unscrew the outer cover and sometimes to unscrew the holding carriage of the harddrive plus there is a place where it plugs in, usually has a tab to pull to unplug. Hope it is back to working order soon.
TAMMY 225 boxes is a lot to have to sell to get a stuffed animal. Geesh. I like the RIDE THE DUCKS TOUR as a special reward though...it's a lot of fun.
Hope everyone is finding some time to renew and scrap today.

Hi everyone!
Debi - sorry to hear about your PSE problems, but it sounds as if you have sorted it out. I'm on PSE 10 after my laptop got stolen last year - up from PSE4! Also not one for upgrades! I like it. Had to search a little for some functions but it does operate pretty much the same way.
I'll have to find out what postage would be - the vials themselves don't weigh much and are packed in a polystyrene box. I'll get back to you. I need to go to the post office tomorrow afternoon anyway, so I'll ask. I do second Theresa's depression idea too. When mine flares I sleep alot too.
Monica - water and laptops just don't mix Hope you got that dried out and the tooth isn't so sore anymore.
Toni - Yay for your pupil! It is so rewarding seeing them make progress. it almost makes all the other stuff worthwhile.
Tina - Busy as always! Had to laugh at Mallory primping in front of the mirror. Wish I had an extra 5 min some mornings, let alone an extra hour...
Melanie - Good to see you around again. Hope you shake that flu/cold soon.
Theresa - same to you. Glad it's not pneumonia but that coughing sounds horrible. Rest!
I know there was more but just can't think right now. I had internet issues again this week. I got them to log a fault on Friday at 10am but they said it would take 48 hours to fix. Hah! It was 4pm Sunday before it miraculously came on. It has been off since last Sunday, but I just didn't have the time to spend calling for help. I was getting withdrawl symptoms. I'm like you, Debi - not very many IRL friends, so I'm dependant on you guys for company.
Haha, spent the morning watching Die Hard and Die Hard 2 on DVD as DH was at work and I wasn't motivated for paperwork. Sure I'm gonna regret it later, but I printed a few photos and sat and chose paper while watching the movies. I'm a woman, I can multi-task
Off to bed now (it's 9:30pm) a bit early, but I was awake early because DH's alarm company phoned him just after 5 with a false alarm at their offices. Couldn't get back to sleep.
Hope the rest of your Sunday is relaxing.

Good Morning Sweet Peas!
Happy Monday! I think I've made the little daylight savings time switch today, yesterday I was dragging tail when I had to get up an hour early for church, but I'm feeling fine today.
Debi - I'm glad that you were able to buy PSE 11, I like it. I didn't have a particularly difficult time transitioning to it and I'm not very technologically advanced, so I'm sure you'll have it whipped very quickly. I'm really surprised that 2 Peas is eliminated the digi products...I wonder why, it seems like it would be super easy product for them to sell since there is no physical inventory. Just an FYI, but you have to stay here anyway.
Theresa - Thanks for letting us know about Val's brother. I will try to make her a card and get it sent out. I'm not the best card maker, but I cut a few out on the cameo this weekend, so I'll try to get one finished.
I power cleaned the house on Saturday morning and then spent Saturday afternoon doing Kerri Bradford tutorials to learn how to use my Cameo...and I love that thing already. It's very cool. I was so inspired that I actually got a LO done, I wanted to do something with some of the goodies that I made.
Here it is:
Amazing every day
I hope you all have a wonderful day. I need to get my exercise clothes together (I have zumba tonight) and get out of here.
Hugs,

morning girls -
Theresa - thanks for letting us know about Val's brother. I play WWF with her so sent her a message with some condolences.
Tina - Zumba???? How do you have the time? Yeah for you making some time for yourself...and can you come powerclean my house? It really needs it, but I would rather scrap, LOL.
speaking of which, I've got to get something done. I've spent most of yesterday scrapping...yes, did three pages, and basically took me most of the day...such a slow scrapper. I will upload them sooner or later.
Debi - sorry about the digi deletion. When I can, I buy from here, but it's not too often, but that doesn't keep me from keeping my cart full, LOL! I'm sure there are many places though that sell digi kits.
Tammy - for Gary!
ok, gotta run...Megs is laughing up a storm so I've got to go see what's got her laughing so much.
have a great day, all. |

THERESA LOL that you ended up getting up an extra hour early. Happened to my SIL too. She blamed it on my Brother but I'm wondering if their alarm might have that same feature. I know my laptop does, as does my furnace. It would be nice if it was just automatic on everything. I'm always forgetting at least one clock. But I changed the boys' alarm, my bedroom clock, the stove clock, the microwave clock and the computers have changed on their own. I just remembered I didn't change the laundry room clock, not that I use it much. Time is so relative and such an elusive concept....
Since TWO PEAS hasn't made an official announcement of the changes we can only surmise what they will entail. The only thing I know for sure is the digi store is closing March 31st. The designers have been let go. A sale should be announced sometime soon. Now's the time to download those free kits and purchase any digi product you've been eyeing. I made up my wishlist yesterday, now I'm waiting to see if any of it will be reduced in price.
TINA I'm sure I'll figure out PSE11 quickly. I didn't have too much trouble switching from PSE3 to PSE7 although switching back to use it was more difficult. Onward and Upward, right? And for a change, I have the latest release although I'm sure PSE12 is about to be released...
That's a great idea to send VAL a card. I wonder if I have her address in last year's RAK list.
TINA, I WISH I could power-clean my house but there is still quite a bit of decluttering to do before that can happen efficiently. Good for you for figuring out the Cameo. It looks like a fun machine to play with. Loved your LO.
As for me going anywhere, I hope to stay and harange all of you for a long time. LOL
TONI I don't consider a 3 LO/day SLOW. Can't wait to see your pages and hope you had fun spending whatever time it took, making them.
I'm not as concerned for myself about the digi-store closing as I don't purchase that much from it, but I was a CT for a couple TWO PEAS designers which now will cease. By CTing I got their products free so I have plenty of digi-products to scrap with, even if I never buy another product from here on out. Besides I make so many of my own now that I'm not dependent on other designers, which is probably what a lot of digi-scrappers do and why digi-store isn't profitable per se to TWO PEAS.
I'm more concerned that digi-scrappers (especially ones new to digi-scrapping) will not have a home here at TWO PEAS if they have to go to other websites to get product. I'm hoping the message boards will still be maintained so the community of digi-scrappers have a homebase. We aren't always welcomed or seen as "real scrappers" by the paper scrapping community. Besides it's great to get support, learn techniques and help each other that can only come from someone who is scrapping like you.
Ok I need to do a little cleaning, a little decluttering and off to do errands. Have a FANTASTIC day!
