|Posted: 3/2/2013 9:14:20 AM|I do most of my scrapping at a crop with a friend once a month or so. Lots of organizing beforehand at home, which I do find relaxing!
Soooo just wondering: when do you scrap?

I scrap during the day, in between laundry, cooking, and the other chores. It may take me a day or three to get a page done, but I like the process.

I work as a teacher so I do most of my scrapping in the evening. I have one afternoon off when I usually do my videos so that I can use natural light. I try to scrap 30 minutes every evening!

I go to the LSS a couple of times a month with a friend or two, and we scrapbook there. I could scrap at home. I no longer have little kids, so I have no reason not to, but for some reason it is harder to scrapbook at home.

I lost my job in December, so since then I have been getting some scrapping done almost every day to keep me busy while looking for a new job.
But when I was working, I would usually just scrap on weekends or maybe try to squeeze in a layout at night.

Lucky for me I have a space where I can leave unfinished projects out. This allows me to work in small batches (maybe as little as 20 minutes) every day if I want to. I tend to go in spurts...will do something every day for a week or more; then, not do anything for days or weeks!

|Posted: 3/2/2013 10:57:17 AM|I am blessed to have an office/scrap room where I can leave projects out. I work full time and so I try to fit in scrapping whenever I can. I sometimes do a little before I go to work, or for a few minutes between coming home and getting dinner. If I wait till everything's done I'm often too tired, so I'm trying to find ways of being organized enough to do a little here and there - sometimes I leave myself sticky notes to remind myself of where to pick up!

I scrap mainly on the weekends. I keep trying to during the week in the evening like I used to but just find myself staring at the papers on my desk instead.
I thought it would be easier to scrap during the week now that the kids are getting older but it only means that their bedtimes have gotten later which cuts out on the me time!

I work during the day so most of the time Zi scrap n the evenings, even on the weekends. Unless I am off, which is rare these days

I tend to walk in from work (a few days a week) and look at what I am presently working on and plan out what I want to finish that night (I usually have ideas that have been circulating in my head all day). I try to get back to it after dinner. I also scrap here and there on the weekend.

|Posted: 3/2/2013 12:24:21 PM|I scrap when I have free time. Right now I´m tackling a major scrapping task: I have tons of pictures from a Disneyworld trip to put in an album (or 5...). I often go online to find inspiration on 2Peas. So far I´m loving the 213 on 2013 series and the Glitter girl adventures.
I have never been to a crop, since I live in Rio de Janeiro Brazil and they are a rare commodity here... So mostly I scrap on my own.

I have three small kids. No extended family. That I would actually let my children go around(so unless they are in school they are with me 24/7). So I scrap whenever I get a chance. Some weeks I might scrap alot. Some weeks not at all.

I'm often too exhausted when I come home after work to scrap in the evenings but it happens occasionally - chances are better if it's still light outside when I get home. Winters here in Sweden are very dark - we usually only have about 6 hours of very weak, overcast daylight a day - and that darkness can really suck the energy out of you so when there's a bit of light, you want to enjoy and take advantage of it.
Last week was sport week - a whole week off from work! So I scrapped nearly every day. It was glorious!

Week-ends or when I'm on vacation from work. I live alone and have a scrap room where I can leave works in progress out. I just can't scrap in the evening after working. When I first started scrapping and was still married and son was in middle school, I would get up at 4:30 every morning so I could scrap while the house was quiet and others still in bed. That started a habit I can't break! I still get up at 4:30 even without setting an alarm but I no longer scrap that time of the morning. I've never been to a crop. Just never had the desire.

Tuesdays during my youngest son's nap time (my oldest spends time with my in-laws that day) and in the evenings after the kids are in bed.
Sometimes I also set up on the kitchen counter during the day (SAHM) and will steal a few minutes here and there during quiet play/nap times to scrap.

Sometimes I don't scrap for weeks or months, but once I'm on a roll, it's usually daily...either before or after work. I work different shifts, so I'm either at work something like 9-6 or something like 1:30-10:30...and in a long commute, having to get DD to school at 7:45 and all of the other things that have the "nerve" to get in the way of scrapping, and I forgive myself for being inconsistent with scrapping!
