My blade is really chopping up my papers and not cutting well at all. I know there are most likely lots of tiny pieces of paper in the blade, but I can't get them all out. I tried to watch a youtube video on it, but the way she is doing it is not working on mine. I still can't get it opened. How do you clean yours out?
I did put in a new blade and it works great, but I really hate for this one to be wasted just because I can't get the paper out. If I can save it, I'd like to do that.

This is how I clean mine. I have no idea if its the "right" way.
Put your blade all the way to 10. Then I take a stiffer paintbrush and get all of the bits and pieces out. Sometimes I have to take my paper piercer to get any pieces that are stuck way down deep.
Hope this helps!

I watched a video on this too but after all the cutting I've done and with all the different types of paper I've used, for $13, I replaced the blade!
