My parents had a daughter several years before I was born. She passed away at 6 months from a heart condition. My mother was recently cleaning her basement and came across about 20 pictures she didn't know she had. She asked me to create a scrapbook for her. This week her job is to make copies of all the pictures so I am not working with originals. My question is: How would you approach this project? I don't feel like a baby album is a good choice but I also don't feel like a heritage album is right either. I am assuming the pictures will be in B&W and my mom said they aren't very good pictures. Has anyone ever done an album like this? Can you think of a good line to use? I am just at a loss here...

Thanks!

Jen

Just scrap them with some pretty paper. No theme necessary.

I'm not sure why you would not use baby things. She was a baby. She was a daughter. She was loved. I would use all manner of vintage looking pink baby girl paper, like the new Kaiser Kraft Bundle of Joy girl paper, or like Graphic 45 Little Darlings, for example.

I think Crate Paper's Little Bo Peep collection might be really pretty for an album like that. Soft and pretty, and slightly vintage.

Did you ask your mom what she would like the album to convey?
