I've ordered an Evolution, most of the Lawn Fawn dies, and a handful of Lifestyle Craft dies. I've also ordered more embossing folders then I think I need.

What dies/shapes do you find you use the most? I'm looking to add to my collection.

I'm not asking where you got them. Just so I'm clear I'm not violating the TOU

I use spellbinders a lot...and I mean a lot. Also like Memory Box dies and Die-namics.

I should add I make a lot of cards as well as do layouts so I guess it depends on what your looking for.

The vast majority of my dies are from Spellbinders or Lifestyle Crafts. I also have a good number of Sizzix dies - I'm really liking their new Thinlets and Framelits lately. I also have a decent number of Cheery Lynn and Cottage Cutz, but not even close to the numbers I have of the others.

I also really like my embossing folders! Most of mine come from Provo Craft (Cuttlebug), with Sizzix a close second. Spellbinders also has some wonderful double-sided embossing folders I enjoy using.

Enjoy your machine! Dies are a GREAT way to make customized embellishments for your pages.

spellbinders that I've bought only with coupons and a some Memorybox/Poppystamp ones from a local place. Those ones are window, door, house, flowerbox, and little birds. Oh, I think I got a fence, too.
The spellbinders are more a basic/everyday kind of shapes (i.e. not leaves or flowers, etc.) Like lacey circles, lacey ovals, plain of each, teardrop circles, fleur de lis rectangles, etc.

The LSS owner told me one of them (Poppystamps?) is actually the kids of the ones that started the first company.

Dave, owner of Memory Box Co., started Poppystamps for his kids to run. They are still young (under 18). Dave designs all of the stamps, dies, papers, etc., for both companies.

Oh, I see! I could only remember the part about kids and not the details.

Yes, I know a lot of people get confused about it. Glad I could clarify. As a designer for Dave, I work with both Memory Box and Poppystamps products. Love them all!

I prefer the wafer thin dies (QK, SB, MB, etc) vs the steel rule dies (Sizzix, Ellison) due to storage space. The larger dies take up a lot of room!

If you are looking for specific recommendations, I use the basics a lot. Both QK and SB have circles, squares, ovals, hearts, rectangles, etc. I like the fancier labels as well. I also have several banners. And words that die cut out in one cut. I'll post a picture in my gallery of my magnet board. That's where I keep my most used dies.

I'm really drawn to the dies that have coordinating stamps, so I have a lot of those from Hero Arts and PTI. I also have a nice selection/collection from My Favorite Things, which I first saw here at 2Peas, but they aren't sold here anymore.

As for styles or shapes, I try to stick with what I'm pretty sure I'll use over and over. I have basic shapes like stars, labels, banners, hearts, some flowers, and then some seasonal shapes like flip flops, snowmen (a few of those--love snowmen ).

What dies/shapes do you find you use the most?
In addition to alphabets, I frequently use QK nesting shapes (e.g. circles, stars, hearts, labels). HTH & enjoy your new dies & cutter...

My favorite dies come from Papertrey Ink. I haven't purchased from PTI in over a year, though, due to their many customer service issues.
