I see some Project Life layouts that are two pages, but very few regular two page layouts with multiple photos. I have nothing against Project Life, but I'd like to see more 12x12 layouts that are double page spreads with plenty of photos.
I think those of us who scrap multiple-photo two page layouts feel like no one is interested, but I would love to see more, and based on another post, I am apparently not the only scrapper who is interested.
I will try to upload a few of mine, but I hope I won't be the only one. |

I posted one yesterday. They do seem to be very rare lately. Here's a link to mine. It is based on a Shimelle sketch to scrapbook page and I made it a double page instead of a single page.

It used to be that every layout I did was a double page. Now I find I haven't done one in almost 2 years! I also think I'm taking less pictures. I haven't used my DSLR since last summer. |

I think doubles are more old school, well mine are but I still love to do them and for some reason I am more inclined to use old stash on them, I think that is because I have lots of doubles of cardstock | |

I only create 2 pg lo for my albums. I am currently working on each of my kids first year for the in laws and this is the first time every making 1 pg lo with only 1 photo since their albums are 8x8.
I like some of the 1 photo 12x12 layouts and if it wasn't a big event I could see only scrapping those. |

I am trying to check the layouts of those of you who say you do two pagers. I keep getting a server error when I try to click on your name.
I do hope that those of us who do two page layouts will be more willing to post our layouts in the Gallery. I know my style is more "old school" generally, which is why I haven't posted a layout in a very long time. I felt like no one was interested. But I did upload three today. They had been scanned previously and uploaded to my blog, so they aren't my most recent work, but I enjoyed creating them and hope others will enjoy them, too. I will try to scan and post something more recent.
I am hoping that more two page scrappers will load their layouts, too. |

I have some in my gallery. I'm not sure they show as two pagers in the gallery photo though. I think a couple of them might look like or page or be a photo of the right side then another post with the left. I think I had trouble uploading them way back when I added them
I still do two pages sometimes. Ill try to start uploading them. Although the last time I tried to upload from my phone it just ducked my battery and never finished. And it froze my app for hours |

It's true. They take more time to scan and prepare to upload. It's also true that they don't get as many comments or views. But I know that I kind of stopped checking the Gallery because I saw so few two page layouts, and most of them were Project Life, which I don't do. Now I am checking the Gallery again, and I am hoping we can get more people who are willing to post in spite of the above. |

I am happy to hear there's still some Peas looking for 2-page inspiration! Though I've been a dedicated "one-pager" for some time, recently I've done quite a few two-page spreads to feature more photos and longer journaling. In fact, I'm working on a two-pager right now that will be featured in my Seeing Double video later this month.
Will definitely check out the two page layouts on this thread! |

Thanks so much for posting this. I'm just getting back into scrapping after a long break. While I love the single page layouts with one photo, my style is more of double pages with multiple photos.
I'll try and figure out how to scan and post some layouts I've done recently.

I didn't get a chance to look at everyone's layouts yesterday because of the gallery problem, but am off to look right now.
I realized that while I still do mostly two-page, multi-photo layouts, I mostly photograph the one-pagers I do. The photos of them usually turn out better, and it's much easier. I'm really going to try to photograph and post my two-pagers more, using Jen's tips. |

Lisa, thank you for doing more two-pagers! I love your layouts.
I think part of the reason that we feel that two-pagers aren't done as much is because a lot of the beautiful design team work out there is done on single pages with one or two photos. It makes sense, since manu/store design teams are showcasing product, which is easier on one-photo, one-page layouts, but I love getting to see a mix of both!  |

I have never been much of a two page scrapper myself, unless I have a BUNCH of photos-then I sometimes make a mini...and because they are are to photograph, I rarely share when I do them. But it is interesting to see how many of you do them! |

Thank you all for the sweet comments on my pages. I didn't realize I had so many 1 pagers in there. Those are mostly for the store DT I am on.

And all this time I've been taking 2 pictures and loading them as 2 parts of a "project". I didn't know there needed to be photo stitching involved. Where have I been??? |

I'm digi, so these might not be too helpful, but the design principles are the same! I do quite a few two-pagers, not as many as I used to do, but still a lot.
Also, I LOVE the way they present here in the gallery, I always split mine up in two sections to upload, so it's easier to see the details.

Scrapn Nana, please continue to post your 2 page LO's as I've followed your post a lot in the past. I quit checking in to 2 peas because I'm not into the "new" style of only one small photo per page. A lot of people seem to use smaller pictures on their LO's--4x4, 3x3, 2x2, or collages. I wonder if that's another reason for less 2 page LO's, since more pictures are fitting on one page?
