I would to start incorporating the Project Life approach to my scrapbooking. I have looked near me to find page protectors and albums but have not found any. The only brand I have readily available are from SU (a friend is a demonstrator).

Are they pros or cons to different companies? I would like to place a large order to save on shipping but don't want to buy cheap, easily ripped or weird size protectors. Does it matter if I use post bound?

Thank you.

I ordered them off amazon. I got the Becky Higgins brand. I like them a lot. I got the big pack that comes with like 60 so you get every shape and size.

I also bought 12x12 protectors made by American Crafts at M's for the occasional 12x12 layout.

I love the WRMK albums and WRMK divided page protectors. I also use some some of the Becky Higgins divided protectors, which also fit the WRMK albums.

When you mix match the dividers, is there an obvious difference? I am a 12x12 scrapper but want to have some PL sprinkled in here and there

So far I've only used the BH page protectors. I don't remember where I saw it. Maybe on a YouTube video. But the BH(the 3x4 row) aren't EXACTLY the same. I know when I use cards that aren't BH I have to cut them down a tiny bit. This has been a bit of a pain. I already bought a ton and almost every core kit by BH, so I'm sticking with them.

I like Becky's and I also like the 6-up 4x6's from WRMK. I have also used other WRMK's less successfully. Form example, the one that has a 4x12 and 3 4x6's... My 4x12 photos constantly slide out.

I have had the same problem with the 4x12 sliding out. I got tired of it, so I put a glue dot on each side and adhered it to the inside of the protector. Then I put a flower or a gem over the dot.

I never thought of them sliding out Is the any issue with photos sliding out of BH protectors?

When I buy scrapbooks I buy page protectors from that line and use for entire album so I have many different manufactures. Some are so flimsy and rip off the post just from the weight of my pages

I would like to stock up but not if in the end, they are not working well. Do the BH seem durable? I have teenagers who love to flip through the book, show their friends so something that can take their "abuse"

Thanks for all the input. I'm very limited to what I can purchase in person here and I really wish I could handle the protectors before buying.

CTMH has a good assortment.

My 4x6 photos slide out of the top row of Becky Higgins ones all the time.

I have the BH Design A page protectors and nothing has fallen out.
Usually only have a problem with (wrmk) pic falling out if one of the slots is over filled. I just put washi tape over the end.

I use protectors from BH, American Crafts, WRMK. They are all good in my opinion. All of mine are mixed together in my albums.

I got a big variety pack of BH that has some of designs A-F (I think), a pack of the smaller BH insert pages and a pack of WRMK ones that had different sizes/layouts than BH had available. I really wanted a good variety so I didn't feel "stuck" always doing design A. Haven't had any issues so far but I will keep that advice about using mini glue dots in mind!
