I've had my Cameo for less than a week and am loving it! So far I've just been cutting cardstock and vellum pieces to use in Project Life (arrows, hearts, etc.). Now I have bunches of these great embellishments to just grab and use except, they are all just in a kit club 'pizza box' right now. Suggestions please?

If you do cuts in advance, how do YOU store them?

I just put mine in a binder in various sized pocket page protectors. Not sure if it will work yet or not.

I use a hanging file folder for some cuts. I also use envelopes that are labeled and have them in a slotted hutch on my desk.

I have various small metal tins that I toss my extra die cuts in. I've kept them in little ziplock baggies too.

I don't cut much in advance, but I have cut stars, tags, and envelopes and store them in a fossil watch tin that I reach for all the time.

I got my first electronic cutter in 2005. From that time to now, I have just cut things as I needed them.

in my early days of scrapping, we didn't have personal die-cutting anything. I didn't live near any LSS, so when I visited a place where there was one, I always visited their LSS and used their big die-cutting machine and dies and made lots of die-cuts to take home. I used a photo box with tabbed dividers to store them, and later I used a binder with page protectors that had pockets, sort of like what you use for Project Life. Neither was ideal, but they did work.

I just cut as I need too.

But an idea I have for you is to put those cuts in a 8.5x11 sheet protector and keep it in your PL album. Then it will be right with your stuff and you can see through it to easily pick out something.

I use a jewelry organizer I got on clearance at M's. Divided compartments, different sizes, fabric covered cardboard really. That way I can keep shapes sort of organized - circles, squares/rectangles, tags, words, shapes etc.

I usually just cut as I need. For the few times I have cut in advance, I just place the cuts in a standard business envelope.

Thanks all!
I do plan to try and mostly cut just what I need but, I liked the idea of having a few basics on hand to grab.

I ended up picking up a couple of clear, hard plastic 4x6" photo boxes I saw on sale and am giving them a try for now. At least they are small and will keep things flat and neat.

I have a smaller drawer where I keep some random cuts. Other than that, I only cut as needed.
