I am not a fan of blog hops. A post with 76 links feels overwhelming. I tend to just leave.
I do like posts w a mr. Linky section at the end of the post that has a preview picture.
What do you like or not like?

It's pretty rare that I will follow a blog hop all the way through and all those links at the bottom get scrolled past by me. (The photo has to have something that REALLY jumps out at me for it to make me stop.) | |

I don't do blog hops. I tried one or two and got tired of jumping from blog to blog.
I do like it if a blog post has a pertinent link. For example, if they used a template for something they created that was really cute, and they include the link to the template. I really appreciate that. |

I'll do them once in awhile if they are small (no more than 10-15) AND there is some rhyme or reason...all using a certain product or something. | |

I don't tend to do blog hops. I don't like that sometimes the links don't go to the specific post, so if I'm hopping a day or two later, I have to search for it. I also just don't like having to click each one and specifically choose "open in new tab" because most of the time they open automatically in new windows, and I am a one-window-only kind of girl. So unless the giveaway is really great, I usually just don't bother. |

I really only like blogs that get sent to me by email, other wise I really dont have the time or the brain power to check them.

I very rarely do blog hops, and when I do I am only willing to do a few links.
I doc heck out the links (with photos!) at the end of a blog post, and if they are interesting to me I do click on them. |

I like small blog hops. I just click to open each one in a new tab, then I can go and check out each blog when I have time.
I don't like blogs with really busy sidebars, especially if they have two, one on each side. And I know a lot of bloggers made good money with ads but I have a hard time reading blogs that have flashing/rotating ads.. and lately I've seen several that have ads above and below the top title/image bar, and then more on the side.

I've done and enjoyed blog hops, but I have to be in the mood & have plenty of time.
What I don't like is constantly being re-directed to people's blogs to see projects. If you're posting here or on another MB and you want to share, post the picture. My internet connection is so slow, it just takes forever and I lose interest. Now, if you're giving away a download or having a drawing -- that's a legit reason to hop on over to someone's blog IMHO  |

I like hops, but I agree that more than 20 is a bit too much.
Wow you have the patience of a saint. I would not hop to anywhere close to 20 links. Maybe 10 max, but on most days it is whichever name stands out to me the loudest, so probably only 6.
I do like the preview links (the ones for link parties).... that way I can only open what I really want to check out.

I like small blog hops and have been pretty lucky to win on occasion. But sometimes they are so long, it's ridiculous. Even 10 is overwhelming. I would much prefer 5 as a max. With 5 max it's quick and simple and chances are I would spend more time visiting each site. And isn't that the point of blog hops, to get us to not only visit BUT to also spend time checking out your sites? So then why must they be sooooooo long?!  |

I only participate in blog hops because it's for a DT. I'm not a fan... neither is my DT coordinator. Mostly I don't bother to do the whole thing. I feel bad, cos when I'm in them I want people to visit, but I know how annoying they are, lol! |

Unfortunately I think blogging has reached the natural saturation tipping point. The choices are endless - yet somehow the same. Readers are jaded.

I don't like blog hops , too many links & takes too much time. If there is a link party at the end of the post with pictures of the projects than I will go to the links which attracts me. |

I always just sit and click the mouse wheel to open every blog in a new window so i can quickly give a look to if I'm interested if not I close the window. Easy and quick. |

It depends on the blog hop. If it is for a manufacturer I like, I would participate if there were 8 or less stops. |
