We e-filed our taxes in late January, but because one of our forms was one they wouldn't accept until February 15, it was actually sent to the IRS until then. That has been almost a month ago & we still don't have our refund. It has been accepted by the IRS, and according to their website, we should have had it within 21 days. Anyone else having problems?

I only just filed last night. I haven't any idea when our refund is coming. It's not very much so I'm not in a big hurry.

Education credits are delaying some.

Also there are glitches in the intuit software packages that are affecting residents in MN. Education credit info

I got mine back very quickly. After I received my refund, I realized I made a mistake and had to file an amended return which cannot be done electronically. From what I understand, refunds from those will take forever and there is no status tracking either.

I haven't filed yet *cough* procrastinator *cough* but I have a friend whose refund is MIA. She thought maybe it was due to the new college credit that she was eligible for.

I thought I heard on the news yesterday that some
people who used H&R Block would have to resubmit
or redo their taxes. I wasn't really paying attention
but I remember thinking what a nightmare. DS is an
accountant and he had his refund much quicker than
he thought he would ~ both state and federal.

We owe (but not much....yay!) and they aren't getting it until the 15th of April. However we did get a little from state and it came really quick, which is unusual.

We got our state taxes back less than two weeks after we filed. But because DGDs father decided to claim her our federal was kicked back with questions.
Our tax attorney had us send the paper copy in.
They'll be investigating him because we have always claimed her.
She lives with us and we have that right according to the attorney and the courts.

Now we just have to wait for the IRS to release our funds.

We filed in January.

I just filed this week! No clue on the time table. I got the notice that my state return was accepted. Haven't received notice on Federal. It's a significant amount of $$ (to me), but it isn't money I count on, so I'll deal with it when it gets here!

If you are getting an education credit and used the HR Block software there is some glitch in the system. We were told it would be another 4 to 6 weeks. So not happy.

We had education credits and filed through H&R Block on 2/14. I just checked on Wheres My Refund today and it stated that my refund should be direct deposited on 3/18.

Those who used HR block and the education credits - did you have a delay after the IRS accepted your refund? Mine shows accepted but I'm concerned after all of these posts. Thanks!

We filed ours at the beginning of February (the second week sometime). Our state refund came quickly, in about 10 days.
We just got our federal refund last week. No idea why that one took so long. We usually get our federal refund much more quickly than state.

We had to wait until the 14th to file because of college tuition or something...and then it took longer than expected. We were stuck on 'received' for nearly 3 weeks when usually, we had a refund after 2 weeks.
Finally it switched to 'approved' with a notation that they had amended our return and reduced our refund by 108.00 based on something even my tax guy is stumped about. On the 3 week mark we got our refund.

Update on mine - I files Tuesday night about 10:30 pm (online).

My federal hasn't been accepted yet, but my state refund was in my checking account this morning. So...3 days to accept it, approve it and deposit it? I was shocked! Way to be on top of things state of Georgia!

Um, "where's my refund" says it was sent Wednesday but here it is Saturday and nothing shows up in my bank.

Do they mail checks anymore? Should I be concerned?
