I've been watching off and on all day long. I don't really "need" anything, but I'm getting tempted by a few items.

I wanted 2 things. Had them in my cart on-line and checking out, only to be told they were sold out.

I had just put them in the darned cart!

So, I turned the channel. I'll buy from elsewhere.

They crafting items sell out super fast. You really need to get on at midnight when they start out. Live TV is unpredictable and sells out in minutes. I work for them and have seen things sell out in less than a minute actually.

I didn't leave these items in my cart for hours or days, expecting them to be there when I returned.

I had just put them in the cart! Pressed order or whatever the take my money button would be and the first one showed sold out. I had it in my cart. The presentation was STILL on air at that time and right after the item was shown sold out on air.

I don't think it is unreasonable to expect an item in my cart, in the process of being purchased, not to be taken out of my hands.

Alrighty then. I am sorry that happened to you, but it again is live TV and things do sell out. Unfortunately just putting them in your cart cannot guarantee that they will be there for you. We literally have thousands of orders going on at once. Sorry you were disappointed. And remember just because you saw the presentation doesn't mean that they weren't presented earlier as well.

How come Peas always need tutorials...it isn't "in your hands" until the order is completed. Now, if you'd bought it and paid for it, and then you were told it was sold out, then you'd have a right to be peeved.

Have you watched HSN before?? They are always mentioning the sales. And, they often mention an item has sold out. It's not like they can keep it up to minute though - they don't even take a breath why they are hawking stuff. LOL

Anyway, the cut off has to happen on someone, right?

I am tempted to buy into Project Life but I know there are some nice new kits coming out in May. I dont like the colors and patterns in the ones available now.

Having purchased from QVC for years, I am not a novice at buying from shop at home channels. I've never had issue with completing a purchase of an item that is in my cart, but indicated sold out on air. Never!

So, yeah, I was quite surprised that despite them being in my cart, they were not available 30 seconds later.

I know HSN is not QVC. I have not shopped from them in the past to know that having it in my cart meant nothing.

Silly me!

What's that thing peas always say, Don't like the business practices, take your money elsewhere. After this experience, I'll stick with QVC. Shopping shouldn't be frustrating.

These PL kits are HSN are 2 of the new kits that will be available retail wide in May.

Both items in my cart were sold out...my own fault as I was pondering a bit...they did this a few months ago when I was going to buy Martha Stewart punches.
They have had some really good deals. Enjoying seeing Lisa but find her product line too plain for me.
Love that HSN is paying attention to us crafters. It's been four years since QVC decided we weren't part of their business plan.

And tht is fine. I was just explaining if case you didn't know. Look this isn't some personal affront to you, products are limited, hugely popular and sell out. It happens everywhere. Again I am sorry you were disappointed.

I bought both PL kits today. I've been wanting to get caught up on my backlog of pictures, and I figured this was a good time to try this system. I liked the colors in these two kits better than any of the others I've seen on BH's website.

I just got my PL dividers today that I ordered from Amazon Friday. I was planning on using my own papers in those. I paid $30 with free shipping for the pack of 60. I didn't order an album yet since I had another one I can use for those, but the PL albums are $20 on Amazon. So for barely more than the price of the page protectors and album, I also got the kit and the page dividers. Not bad!

I was disappointed that the PL page protectors were sold out. They were only $20, and the shipping would not have been much since I was ordering the two kits and would have had reduced shipping on the add-ons. I've been using some non-PL divided protectors, but I like the layout of the PL ones better, and I would have ordered a couple more sets of those at that price.

I didn't buy the Project Life kits, because I have so much paper I need to use and you don't really use up paper very fast w/ Project Life.

But I did just buy three things ... the Martha Stewart scoring board (I have a Scor-It board but I was seduced by some of the extras here), Claudine Hellmuth card kit, and a washi tape collection that won't be aired till tonight. Great deals.

I guess I helped pay Scrappower's salary today (and probably will contribute to tomorrow's before the day is over).

I'm still on the fence about the PL kits. I keep telling myself I don't need a kit. I have so much paper in my stash I'd love to use. Also you can find so many freebie journaling cards. But this requires work and thought. LOL I've been having this internal dialog all day.

I never buy from HSN or QVC but today I bought a PL kit. Now I am wondering if I should buy both bc I liked the colors in both. But $100 for 2???? Ugh. I just want to catch up on all the pics I haven't scrapped in years.

PL is new to me and I thought about it but I hate the colors.

I didn't know it was craft day until 4 so I missed a lot.

I bought a border kit. At first I thought it was silly. Then they showed the CUTEST cards made with them! Super easy, and so darn cute! So I put them in my cart at like 1:00 this morning, then thought about it all day. Got back on at 9 tonight, and it was still in stock, so I bought it. I am actually really excited.

The jade kit and a $14 Todd English 7" fry pan even my shopping habits have ADD! (We did need one though and the sale price was a steal. Been wanting to try one of those Eco nonstick pans and I just burnt up my $200 Swiss diamond fry pan
