The winner for this week is ROBKAYNEL!!! Congrats! Peamail me with your name and address so Colorado Cropper can send out a prize!!

Starting with this challenge, the prompts will now be open for two weeks! Happy April!
I've decided to host a bi-weekly (twice a month) challenge thread here at Two Peas. The more you play, the more chances you have to win a small scrapping goody from me (and some others who are donating prizes!!) and the more pages you will get done!

Please link up your creation in this thread for a chance to win and I will also have a challenge box you can check during the upload process.
Look for **Stash Busters Challenge**

**You can combine all these prompts. Each prompt you use is good for one chance to win...so use 3 prompts on one layout = 3 chances to win!***

We all like to get comments on our pages so if you are playing along please try to find the time to return the favor!

**********************************************************************
Deadline for these challenges are MONDAY April 8th by 11:59 pm PST

*********************************************************************

Prompt #1

Use a chevron on your layout. There a bunch of options for this. Patterned paper, washi, stamps...I'm sure you have something with a chevron print in your stash.

Two fun examples I found in the gallery are this one from
Tarrah

You can click on the scrapper's name and look through their gallery and leave some love!

and this one from Mary Ann Jenkins

Prompt #2

Bingo cards and butterflies. Use them both on a layout. I took a page out of Shimelle's play book for this one.

A link to her actual post (from August 2011) features a video!

Shimelle's website

This page was in the gallery:

Page created by Flip_pea_ng...page link HERE

Prompt #3

Use this recipe:
  • 1 photo
  • 1 patterned paper
  • mist, ink or paint
  • one or more stamps
  • use a shape punch or diecut shape

You can add more paper and embellishment but must have at least one of each recipe element.

Sample page by Stephanie Wheeler. Recipe also from Stephanie and Cocoa Daisy Spring 2012 crop.

Prompt #4

Use this layout as inspiration.

From Two Peas gallery of SanELi

Prompt #5

Complete any Two Peas challenge. As long as a challenge is still open, it counts.

Love this!

I have not finished scrapbooking Christmas Day, but the very next layout I do I already know will use chevron paper! After that, and I probably will finish it up later in the week, I scrap some single-photo layouts!

I just wanted to say Hi to everyone also...busy week at my store so I haven't scrapped this week but I have some extra time off next week so hopefully I can play along on sun and monday. There is so much great inspiration here in the prompts and also in the entries ...they are giving meso many great ideas!

Happy Holidays to all! (I think a certain bunny may be leaving me some crafting supplies.)

I've decided to leave these prompts open until Monday April 8th so that way everyone can still try to find some crafty time! I'm thinking about switching to twice a month instead of weekly anyway.

I did scrap yesterday but I was really just socializing with my friends so my pages are a little.....boring?

I hope you all are enjoying a nice holiday weekend!

Marianne, I like the 2 week duration. What do you think about adding an extra prompt on the 2nd week that would end at the same time? Thanks for doing this! I know it is a lot of work!

Congrats to sassiescrapper for winning last week's awesome prize!!!!

Marianne, I like the 2-week duration as well and also Jan's suggestion of an additional prompt for week 2. I know this is a lot of work and I truly appreciate all that you do in trying to inspire us!!! I am glad I read this thread eventhough I didn't have time to participate this week. Now I won't be waiting until Tuesday to find out the prompts for next week. I might actually get some time to play on Monday!

Just wanted to wish all of you ladies a Happy Easter!!!

Congrats, Sassiescrapper!

I've been holidaying in Barcelona, Spain this week so I will definitely be taking advantage of the extra extension time. I also like the idea of adding an additional prompt in week two if the challenges change to fortnightly.

Guess I need to catch myself up on watching all of those 2Peas videos I've missed this week and see what I can do for challenges.

A two week challenge would be great for me too!

However, I have completed prompt five, and in fact the LO Hello Adventure counts for two challenges, Glitter Girl's no title and Wilna's hand journaling. Now I'm off to add bingo cards and butterflies!

Wow! Thanks so much, everyone, and especially Marianne! I'm so excited!

I agree, 2 weeks to complete the challenges would be great. I like having a little more time to work on the prompts. Thanks again for hosting the challenges and coming up with such inspirational prompts. I really look forward to them.

Hey there. I got three layouts done yesterday. The first one is in for all 5 prompts: 1) chevron background 2) SS bingo cards & punched butterflies 3) used the glitz design roller stamp on the yellow pp & accidentally got it upside down on one side. but fun to use 4) i took the messy background & tags from inspiration on the layout. I used a tiny star mask with TH stain & some Mr Hueys gold on the pp. 5) GG challenge 'No title' on a layout. I also used a piece of glitter cs & a piece of blue vellum from my old stash on this one. Sr. Photoshoot

The second layout fits prompt 5 - as I submitted for the Scrap your Stash - Jana loves fun & GG - Tales without a Title. XMas Stockings

The third layout fits prompt 1 - use a chevron. I was also inspired to use another bingo card while I was working with the SS but butterflies didn't really fit with this layout....lol I used almost all older SS from my stash on this one. Euchre Pals

In with another one...This one started out coming together really quick & then turned into 3-4 hours...I was taking some break to cook dinner but still longer than I thought it would be. Only fits for prompt 1 with the single chevron veneer but it was lots of fun filling the cutouts with all different types of embellishments.

Here we go...
This works for Prompt #1, using chevron washi tape.

Here is another for Prompt #1, this one using chevron PP as the background.

Finally, these three LOs all work for the Glitter Girl "No Photo LO" challenge, which is Prompt #5. It's crazy how fast these pages come together when I don't have a photo to deal with:

#1

#2

As an added bonus, this one includes some actual memorabilia in the form of cards from my SO!

Wow, it's been a while since I was able to play along with this challenge. I'm going to try to get another page uploaded before the new deadline!
