Since we're not allowed to talk about tampons, I figured this was more innocuous.

Sparkle. They do the job as good as the rest and don't cost as much as Bounty.

My son just did this for his science fair project and after comparing 8 brands including all the major ones plus a few store/generic brands- he found the Kirkland paper towels by Costco absorbed the fastest and the most and were one of the top 2 strongest paper towels. So after his experiment we will be loyal Costco generic Kirkland brand users now.

I buy these too. Just wish they would make them select-a-size. They're so big that I feel wasteful. I usually tear on in half.

We don't buy papertowels, what an awful burden to the environment and not to mention the loss of trees to make them. We make our own. I'm sure there is a recipe on Pinterest. Why don't you just Google it?! Geez....

I buy mine at Costco, but i use the Bounty brand so that I can tear smaller sheets.

If I run out, I can always wipe my hands on my sweats or if all else fails and my sweats get too wet, (I wash my hands a lot while cooking) and I have plenty of Costco toilet paper, I just use that. It takes a lot though and tends to be messy.

Tampons are smaller, but super absorbent. You can just use them instead.

Too funny... I did this same experiment when I was in 3rd grade. Many moons ago! Back then Viva was the best.

I still love Viva and will buy them if I'm in a pinch and don't want to go to Sam's. Usually, I buy Bounty select-a-size in the big pack at Sam's.

Someone posted a "what brand of tampon do you buy" thread either last night or this morning. (I saw it and replied this morning) and now it's gone...

With all of the crap that's been posted here through the years. And it's not like 2peas sells tampons and we were talking about competing sites

For some unknown reason I am intrigued by what brands people use. Now to go back and read what other people are wiping up with.

I have been buying the Sams generic that does come in select-a-size. I have to buy some soon and I checked Kirkland's this past weekend and noticed they didn't come in select-a-size so I will probably buy them at Sams again, assuming they still have their select-a-size. I find they are just as good as Bounty but less expensive. Probably 75% of the time (or more), I only need a half sheet so I really don't want to switch to a brand that doesn't have select-a-size.

HEB = Howard Edward Butt. It's the name of a grocery store chain based in Texas. HEB sounds nicer than Butt's Groceries I suppose.

And we buy whatever paper towels are cheapest because they are only used to wipe up cat yack and soak up the grease from bacon. I don't use tampons. That is not a subject relevant to my interests.
